Nice respresentation of a Munich Dunkel. Dark brown in color with a white head. Nutty taste and not that hoppy. Rockinout (966) - Kent, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2003
Dark translucent brown. Well balanced but just on the sweet side of the fence. Smooth and nutty. Almost like an Oktoberfest. ultraspank (867) - Alverca, Lisboa, PORTUGAL - JAN 20, 2003
Interesting roasty nose of flowers, resin, smoke and beef broth. Pours from the bottle a dark ruby copper. The tall beige frothy/creamy head is mostly lasing with good lacing. The brew starts sweet with a light middle and a sweet/bitter long roasted finish. The medium creamy and fizzy body finishes astringent. This one pours a clear, dark brown color with a small, off-white head that lingers a minute before dissipating. It has a slightly sweet, all malt aroma. Medium bodied and sweet, the flavor is all malt up front with a lingering, roasted malt finish. This is a nice smooth dunkel for an easy drinking evening. Brown appearance. Flavor is citrusy like sour grapes with a malt presence. Fairly weak palate. Enjoyable but not great.

Dark brown color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is bready, malty and sweet. A medium bodied Dunkel. Malts are mild, nutty and sweet. Hops are mild. Slightly spicy. A light tasting dunkel, a touch thin and watery perhaps, but nicely drinkable. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. hotstuff (5173) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 30, 2004
Bottle. This beer formed a small sized ivory head that was frothy with fine-small sized bubbles that completely dissipated. The body was transparent with fast rising carbonation and a reddish-brown hue. The nose was malty and sweet with a sweet and malty flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and slightly tingly. This beer's texture was thin with fair lacing. thedm (6222) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 1, 2004
This bottled brew poured a large head of finely sized very light brown colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lace. The body was transparent brown colored and carbonated. The aroma was nice with caramel malt and brown beer malt notes. The mouth feel was smooth slightly tingly and finished very mellow. It had a mild brown beer flavor that was malty and just a little thin. flemdawg (562) - Rowlett, Texas, USA - JAN 5, 2005
Green bottle eh? Well here goes nothing. Reddish in color with an off white head. Plums, rasins, some brown sugar in the aroma. Malty taste, dark fruits like the plums and rasins in there, and there was also a bit of a nutty taste as well. Pretty drinkable. Nice and smooth all the way around. 6/30/07 On Draught at the Seattle International Beerfest. Aroma is Sweet caramel malt forward. Appearance is clean, dark copper with an off-white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward with lots of caramel. Bittering is light with light sourness, oakiness, and alcohol. Mouthfeel is light bodied, crisp, very cleanly made. Overall, an easy drinking brew that does taste freshly made.
