Bottle: Golden coloured, slightly hazy, small, almost creamy head; grainy, sweetish, dusty nose with a tinge of resinous hoppiness; sweetish flavour, only traces of bitterness, medium bodied; sweetish - almost fruity finish with some hioppy edges. Not too aromatic, but all in all a chewy, hearty brew................. leaparsons (10712) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2005
Bottled. Golden with a white bubble head. Aromas are sweet grain and Autumn fruit woth caramel, some soap and some sulphur. Flavours are grain and butter with fruit - especially pears. Juicy and addictive. Has some smokiness. Has some "odd" flavours that I found difficult to place - still decent. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2013
It’s yellow golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of dusty grain, light cellar, fruit and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of dusty grain, light vegetables and cellar, straw, light fruit and malt, and the finish is slightly dry. (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly dusty and sweet Munich malt aroma with a grainy touch. Moderately sweet flavour, soft malty taste with a rounded hoppy background; medium to light bodied, smooth mouthfeel; medium-dry, malty, light-bitter and slightly hoppy finish. Definitely not a big one but a clean, fresh and easy-going session beer. A well-balanced pale Märzen. JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2007
Darker gold beer, with good, dense, just off-white head. Fresh hops, grains, CO² impression. Slightly buttery taste, lots of malts packed in, with a hint at caramel. Slick, oily feel. Is there diacetyl? Certainly not much, anyway. Better than the export, but I prefer the much hoppier Pilsner.

bottle, Danke pivnizub! Clear golden yellow, large white head, which is quite persistent. Spicy malty-herbal nose. Medium-bodied, malty with some hoppy herbal accents and a lingering bitter finish. Erzengel (9355) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 15, 2015
*Old rating, best before 01/04. Malzig-getreidiges Bier. Malzig-süßlich, rund und mild. Recht herb im Nachgeschmack Lecker. maeib (8751) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2010 Bottled. A light orange/gold coloured lager which pours with no head. The aroma is sweet and malty with a bit of typical butteriness. The taste is also on the sweet malty side but there’s a very pleasant balanced hop taste to it which gives it that edge over most Maerzens. Maybe I’m just in a good mood but I really enjoyed this.jonas (7993) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 23, 2009

Bottle 50cl. A clear copper beer with low head. Smell is on malt and toasted malt. Aroma is medium sweet, malty, hints of caramel and toasted malt, usual marzen. Finish is very toasted and hopy with a grassy notes, yes finish is more interesting with medium to long aftertaste.
