   AROMA 3/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 3/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 6/20

Bottled. A light golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has light notes of malt and lemon. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of lemon, leading to a dry, bitter, and lemony finish. The body is light.

WillemsUrenkel (2089) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2014
0,5 l bottle now called "Disterhäuser Natur Radler" with the same barcode. Murky pale yellow in the glass, nearly no head. Citrus on the nose. Tastes like sweet citrus limonade, later soft grapefruit bitterness. Refreshing, yes, but beer?

Erasmus_ro (3244) - Alabama, USA - NOV 17, 2014
Tap @ Sternbäck, Würzburg, 14/11/14. Pours a hale yellow with a frothy, quickly disappearing, white head. Aroma is herb and lemon-lime soda. Taste is soda with some pale maltiness. Soda-like in the mouth. Disgusting.

Beerhunter111 (23291) - Beerland, GERMANY - FEB 3, 2014
Goldgelbes Radler mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr süß nach Limonade. So schmeckt es auch, sehr süß und keine Spuren von Bier.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2013
It’s plae golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of lemon, lemon soda and malt. The sweet flavor has the same notes and the finish is lemony. Thin-bodied, but quenching.

Mariusz (12304) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2012
A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet lemony, and so is the flavor, but the flavor also has light malty notes. The body is thin.

well, it was a hot day, cycling along the main, so it seemed to make sense. light golden, fizzy, no surprises in the lemonade aroma; actually quite ok with faint grassy hops. pleasant stuff. perhaps it’s unfair to rate radler under other conditions

Bottle. Lemon soda aroma with a hint of the export beer. Pale yellow color with nice head. Sweet lemon flavor with a light bitter finish. Nice Radler but not much beer flavor.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2009
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Hildigöltur/Dixen. Clear yellow with a dense white head. Very discreet aroma - the lemon is hardly detectable. Light body with vague notes of sweet lemon. 220309

Bottle 33cl.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light citrus - lemon. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090322]
