Clear, pale yellow-straw color with a near white head and very good lacing.
Very mild aroma of grain.
Taste of light caramel, grain and mild floral hops.
Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation.
Very nice for a light beer.

Crisp watery yellow with a soupy head. The aroma is slight. The flavor has a bit of a burst of straw malt. Not too much in the way of hops. A bit of fruit. GoBlue (104) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JAN 23, 2007
Very clear yellow color with disappating head. Aroma is bready and grainy with maybe a hint of spice. Flavor is grainy and clean. Well made example of a style difficult to keep as clean as this beer was j12601 (13034) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 6, 2009
On tap at the District Chophouse. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Esters, grain, a touch of citrus. Toasty grain, buttered popcorn. Finishes up with some light bitterness and a bunch of grain. Tayeth (676) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2015

Draught at Brewpub - RBSG DC 06
Golden color, white head, nice lacing. Nose of diacetyl and pale malt. Some lemony cream and a touch of creamyness. The flavor is grassy, some pale malt and a bit of husk. Finishes wet and a bit dry and bitter. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 10, 2007
Sampled on tap on 7/15/06: Pours a transparent golden with a thin ring of white head. Fruity noble hoppy aroma is quite refreshing for a light beer. Body starts thin, but has a touch of malty sweetness before revealing more grainy flavor. Not that great, but pretty good for the style. Braudog (6805) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - APR 8, 2007
Draft pint at the District Chophouse; ridiculously light in color but there’s a nice smooth malty biscuity-ness to this; I sense this is almost Koelschy! Pretty enjoyable light beer, I must say. (#2779, 4/7/2007) MiP (15962) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 22, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Weak grainy aroma. Almost clear yellow colour. The flavour is slightly grainy, but not unpleasant. Creamy mouthfeel. Chalky finish. Good for the style. drsordr (2798) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2016
Draft to taster at brew pub pour clear pee yellow with thin white head. Nose crystal malt and typical light lager smells, but no skunk. Taste green apple and crystal malt leading to strong grainy malt. That continues through the light bitter finish.
