Draft... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The nose is a touch grainy, but mostly nondescript. Regarding flavor, there’s just not much there. Tastes much like any light lager brewed up and spit out by B, M or C. Weird hop combination. Light-bodied and a bit creamy with medium carbonation. Thin, watery finish. Yellow, fizzy, cold. A bit of lemon in the aroma, even candy--curious. But it finishes lightly dry and a little like corn. Not terrible, thanks to the flavors, but not good. A little thin in the mouth. (on tap at brewpub) TheBeerGod (6241) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - SEP 8, 2005
From a sampler at District ChopHouse in DC on September 5th, 2005. Pellucid gold. Nose is malty with light citrus. Taste is grainy and lemony. Semi-sweet malts and faint honey and grassiness. Light bodied with a mild carbonation feel. Finishes citrusy and wheaty. Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2006
A light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a light note of malt. The flavor is grainy and malty but thin - so thin, that it is not even good on a hot and humid summer day in DC, as I had it. haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - OCT 16, 2003
Light, pale golden color with not much of a head. Light aroma with mild malt. Pretty light, watered down taste. An easy beer to have in the summertime...but that's about it.

A standard bad light lager. Neither impressive nor exciting. Better than Coors but not really by much. jasonp (1581) - Ashburn, Virginia, USA - JUL 2, 2006
At District ChopHouse DC. Pours clear golden with a white head. Very grainy, slightly sour and musty aroma. Flavor of spent grain, old un-fresh hops, with notes of hay, light lemon and a tinge of sourness. Lacking sweetness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not that good at all. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 12, 2006
on tap at brewpub. pours light yellow with frothy white head. thin metallic finish, just like tasting your dental fillings. grainy and watery. this is not a pleasant beer. blank (996) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 17, 2004
yummy, your standard waterly light lager that every micro makes for the people who get pissed off that you don’t have bug light.... next! kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 19, 2006
On tap, DC location, 2006 RBSG pubcrawl. Pours a pale yellow with a small fizzy white head that settled to a thin film. Moderate fine visible carbonation. Aroma is of very light crystal malt and light corn. Flavor is pretty minimal, but certainly not offensive like many brewpub Lights. Mouthfeel is thin with fizzy carbonation. Overall, about what you’d expect, watery and weak, but at least it was drinkable.
