The bottle looks very simple, the beer in the glass not too zippy, short-living head. Starts malty and dry, a bit rusty. Some fruity notes of plum. Finish a bit moldy, unbalanced, too dry. Not my favourite! BeerBlockaid (683) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - FEB 15, 2010
Pop-top from Real R store or maybe it was another German grocery. Purchased in Hamburg on the way back to Bremen. Pours a cola color. Bit thin with a small head. Nose is roasted malts and grain. Taste is roasted malts, some chocolate, some burnt stuff and grain. However, it is thin and relatively unbalanced. Rather disappointing.
