Corked and caged bottle split at Bruce’s pad, thanks to Rilester for obtaining this one for me over in CA, 09/12/13.
Murky dark mahogony brown with a thin light beige covering.
Nose is booze laden, toffee, treacle, spice, nutty leanings, dark fruit tang.
Taste comprises bitter dark fruits, toffee, banana, yeast esters, strong booze load.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, hot boozey closure.
Ok - drinkable but glad not to be taking on this bottle on my own, a little unblanced and hot. madmitch76 (24378) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2013

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Colin. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild carbonation. Little airy malt cream and malt sweetness. Touch of jammy fruits. Alcohol bite. Semi dry finish. A little messy but fine.
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours murky deep brown with a small tan head. The nose is candy, blackcurrant, stewed berry, Xmas pudding, jam, spice and leather. The taste is sweet, jammy berry, blackcurrant, spice, toffee, earth, some alcohol and bread with a dry finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Lots of jammy berry action going on. A bit sweet for liking, but alright. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 11, 2013
Bottle cheers to Colin. I haven’t had a great deal of experience with Weizenbock. This seems to have bucket loads of stewed fruits, brown sugar and tarty berries. Big date and toffee focus. Taste is again brown sugar and stewed fruit forward with some mild apple pie type notes. Very caramelised stuff with hints of spice and blueberry. Odd. Marmalade like finish, jammy currants come to mind. Ok Leighton (21085) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - thanks to Colin. Pours mostly clear brown with a creamy tan head. Some burnt bread in the nose, leathery fruits, hints of spicy pine. Light sweet flavor with faintly tangy dried berries, a bit of dry yeast, bread, toast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat dry on the finish with leathery berries, dry bread, dry wood. Not bad.

Bottle courtesy of Puzzl, a few months back. Cheers, Andy. Pours a lightly hazy amber body with active white lacing that dissipates quickly. Aroma is full of belgian spice but also a darker malt bill. Mouthfell is effervescent with lots of spice, belgian yeast, caramel, chocolate malt, light earthy character and some burning fruity alcohol in the finish. illidurit (2327) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 27, 2013
