Bottled. Ruby red colour, small brownish head. Aroma is plum, spices and hops. Flavour is plum and roast. No real finish nor aftertaste, leaves it quite watery and empty. Quite "lightweight" Scwartzbier. omhper (25108) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 17, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2004 Bottled, thanks SpringsLicker! Nut brown. Brutal aroma of sheer butyric acid. Something has gone very wrong here. It’s hard to say if the fault derives from the brewing process or if it was left in a boiling hot container while being shipped overseas. However with brewers that don’t stamp a bottling date I have no mercy, and add my rating anyway. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 15, 2006
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a beautiful dark brown with an orange glow and a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Sweetish, roasted nose. Medium body with lots of delicate roasted malt and some light accents of chocolate. Yummy. Underlying sweet edge but still manages to end overwhelmingly dry. Lovely indeed. Sad if this beer is gone for good with the flooding of Dixie Brewing. 270306 madmitch76 (24791) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2009
