Nearly clear, medium gold with a solid off-white head. Aroma is stale, bready, sour grain malt. Initially sweet, then turning to a weak, non-descript bitter. Not appealing....consider the source.

What is this stuff? Tastes like somebody spilled Woodchuck and Pabst on a dirty table and bottled it. It has a weird sort of pleasantness, probably just a halo since Im in New Orleans. But I should have figured a tourist trap store the sells more t-shirts and coozies would have subpar beer. At least I tried something local. Until I realized it was brewed back in Wisconsin. So I guess theres no redeeming this stupid purchase. The good news is I learned how to open a bottle with no bottle opener so I could drink this in my hotel room. Theres the redemption I was looking for.

Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Light to medium golden pour with a slight white head - not much bubble action. Slightly tinny aroma, hint of grain. Flavor is typical low carb tasteless. Hints of metal and some low calorie syrup. Industrial like mouthfeel - like hard water - not spritzy like some other low carb lagers. Forgettable.

( 12oz bottle no thanks to Cavie) Pours pale yellow with no head. Nose of corn and honey and not good. Taste is rotten/wet corn with a sweet linger, and not in a good way.

Bottle. Golden, short to averagea and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and caramel sweet aroma, some fruitiness and some bread. Body is light to medium, malty and sweet flavor, caramel and some brea. Finish is short, malty and sweetish with caramel and some bread. Caramel sweet lager - no hoppyness.

ganache (5773) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2013
Bottle. Nose is grassy, lightly stale, little grain and a little powder. Pours a deep orange-golden with an ephemeral white head. Sweet, artificial flavor skirts the rim of being cloying, theres weak grain and grass, a little stale tasting, and the malt is so thin as to barely register. Light-bodied but not watery, mild and mildly crisp, a little dirty.

Deep down in the Mississippi River, there is a great deal of sediment, which is the crap that comes from New Orleans. This beer would make that sediment look tasty and desirable.

Bottle, pours very light brown color with a white head. Tastes very light slightly sweet, no character or mouthfeel just like water. Ok it was better than Mich Ultra Amber but not a whole lot.

Clear golden pour. Grain and a hint of butter on the nose. Taste is a dry grain and touch of butter. Not too fantastic or refreshing.
