Bottle: fresh aroma with hints of caramel, honey and a dash of boiled vegetables. Amber colour with lots of carbonation and average head. Complex - and slightly uneven - flavour with caramel malt, spices and some sourness to compliment the restrained hops bitterness. Mouth feel is slightly dry with a long lasting aftertaste. A good beer. fonefan (49427) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2007

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Bottled. Nut brown, rich creamy head. Citric aroma of cinnamon and fennel. Sweet and nutty withlots of herbal spices and dough. Unfortunately all of it drowns in a sea of syrup, making it taste like extremely sweet buns. A bit unrefined and decidedly too sweet for me. Hansen (8594) - Assentoft, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2007
Devilbrew and it gets an overall of 13! Reddish-brown color, almost clear. Off-white head, medium lasting. Lacing. Sharp medicine aroma. Flavor is medicine too and a lot of sweet laqurice. Spinach as Jukkabro writes...I don’t know....Iron? astringent? perhaps the man has a point.
