50 cL bottle. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Slight fruity and chocolate smooth aroma. Fruity and hoppy bitter flavour at first. A decent portion of chocolate smoothness apears a second after this. Finish is rather smooth in flavour and mouthfeel with a dry hoppy bite into the far finish. Very nice. I remember tasting the first homebrew batch of this back in Autumn 2004, that was a lot more liqourice heavy compared to this - which barely has any liqourice at all apart from a minor edge into the far finish. If this had the smoothness and full body of Dark Lord or Darkness this would belong into the top 50. sinisterdad (14) - DENMARK - SEP 9, 2007

bottle. it pours a nice pitch black color with a dark brown head. it has a roasty dark aroma. the taste is also roasty and some hops and liqerice. nice. Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - JUL 15, 2007
Pitch black with a nice dense brown head. Intense aroma of roasted, sleightly smoked malts, raw liquirice and a bit of tar. Nice broad flavor, with bitter hobs comming through, but with pure chocolate and again liquirice as the dominating bitterness that really really sticks. Bitter chocolate finish.
