Just slightly hazy deep copper/Amber with a thin sticky light tan head. Some delightful stone fruit (cherry, date, raisin, a touch of white grape and orange zest), a little booze, and a caramel-ish, boozy sweetness. Full rich flavor that’s a little boozy and warm, fruity, citrusy, citrus zesty bitterness with a little bit of floral resin, and a nutty/caramalt and amber malt on the warm, softly fruity and slightly bitter finish. Aroma is malted barley, caramel and some alcohol. The taste is not that good. Too sweet, a lot of alcohol and some odd spicy bitterness to it. During the finish you can taste the alcohol too much. Not great. daje (4548) - NORWAY - MAY 26, 2016
Bottle, september 20th 2015. Dark brown body with a small offwhite head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, red fruits. Taste of toffee, tangerine, perfume and oak. Booxy finish with a warm cara finish. last beer at the avenue, 9-10am .. . dark fruit skins, black malt, tar, and toffee .. . mouth is like gum under a table .. good yet quick finish .. pretty good .. . . my hair’s virtually a hat, all hats suit me.

50cl bottle pours a very hazy amber with some tight, creamy, off white head. Nose has a ton of dried fruit, fig, raisin, toffee, some malt, a little parmesean rind, brown sugar, black pepper. Lots to dig through. Flavor follows, chewy malts and grains, toffee and caramel, fig, date, raisin, just a little bit of acid, a bit of leather. Full bodied, boozy finish. The aroma is vinous, very caramel and a little hop. The taste is very composed of fruit, as it is very hard to put on fruit names. In addition, it has a clear taste of caramel malt and hop bitterness that is surprisingly rich in relation to the beer-type. It has a sweetness that is a little reminiscent candy, but its great taste adds the natural acidity facing a perfect balance to its many other flavors. It has a large thermal alcoholic flavor, but because of the high hop bitterness will never penetrating the alcohol. It is certainly one barley that will be very different after long term storage, but even as a young barley it has a great character quality. It’s damn nice ...

Bottle from someone. Pours light colored orange with a large white head. Rocky. Laces well. Taste is sugary sweet with a moderate bitterness. Light choco as it warms. A light alcohol.
