0.5 l bottle. Red color with creamy head. Sweet aroma with candy, biscuity maltiness, dark sugar, overripe banana, raisins, pepper and ginger. Bittersweet, toffeish and gingery flavor with notes of overripe fruits. Fairly hoppy but the balance is more on a sweet maltiness. Good. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2008

Dark coppery colored with cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Weird christmas spicy gingery-caardamom aroma with hints of raisins and hops, mild alcohol also here. Medium bodied. Flavor is also interesting with same ginger dominating with mild port wine and caramel. Aftertaste dries strongly with still this spiciness and thin positive cardboard and mild alcohol. Interesting though different devil here. saxo (18459) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2008

Fad. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 21, 2008
Hazy red amber with a big and lasting off-white head. Fruity and vineous aroma with some cherry. Strong licorice notes. A hint of mushroom. Dry and alcoholic flavour, slihgtly roast and with some licorice. Strong and warming alcohol.
All Djævlebryg is unusual and I give credit for that, but this one didn’t surprise me in a positive way. tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - APR 15, 2008
50 cl bottle, at my «Hopheads» tasting. Color is brown/reddish, head is off-white. Aroma is sweet with dried fruit. Flavor has a lot of floral sweetness, with malt and some hops. Alcohol is well hidden. Dry finish. Dedollewaitor (16171) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 14, 2008
Tap @ Olbaren, Copenhagen. Pours dark amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet malty, vinous & spicy. Full bodied & very smooth. Alcohol is well hidden & the beer is extremely easy drinkable.
