Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2012
Sample at Ølfestival 2012. Hazy amber colour with little head. Taste and aroma are big on toffee, with a deep hit of winter berries and dark fruit to complement it. Alcohol is noticable but this goes down pretty smooth. I was sufficiently impressed. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - SEP 15, 2011

50 cl bottle, at my «Hopheads» tasting. Color is brown/reddish, head is off-white. Aroma is sweet with dried fruit. Flavor has a lot of floral sweetness, with malt and some hops. Alcohol is well hidden. Dry finish. Foffern (1877) - Bodø, NORWAY - FEB 20, 2013
On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Has a deep golden mahogny colour with a small beige head. The aroma is roasted and rich and filled with oak, nuts and some roasted almonds. Again roasted malt at first then more dried fruit, wood, leather and some alcohol. The mouthfeel is slick and soft, and has a light bitterness. The aroma is a bit faint but the beer has a powerful flavour with some roastedness inbetween. Linnet (1831) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - JAN 17, 2014
