VictorStr (1740) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - APR 5, 2014
Mörka söta toner, kanske lite russin. Fyllig mikrofonen, ABVn lyser igen lite. Balans i smaken, beska och alkohol i eftersmaken. yespr (45439) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2007
1/2 pint at Lord Nelson. Pours hazy amber with a dense off-white head. Malty and slight hoppy aroma. Flavour is sweet malty with a slight spice note. Quite sweet actually. Has a strange spice note on top of the sweet malt. Ends with a solid bitterness and more of that undefineable herbal/spice note. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 14, 2008
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours an almost clear, orangey brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Sweetish caramel aroma. Medium body, completely dominated by huge amounts of sweet caramel, some lightly spicy, medicinal notes and a somewhat unrefined, raw bitterness. Not exactly a study in complexity as it is. I’m sure some cellaring will do good to this - perhaps even to doomsday, as the back label suggests. 311207 elektronikfagtekniker (891) - kbh, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2008

Huge thick beige head that mostly lasted. Very sparkling appearance with an amber color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of bread, toasted malt, light alcohol, light fruity notes and hint of yeast and floral notes as well. Over the palate comes toffee, vinous and very malty base with a somewhat dusty grain / caramels feel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor with low bitterness. Sweet malty / toffee like finish with a bitter alcoholic twist. Wanderer (33) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 10, 2008
Big heavy and dence barley wine, sweet, little offwhite head. could probably use a year in the keg. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2008

Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010 - Dark amber/brown. Fruity and hoppy aroma with dried fruit and toffee. Fruity, hoppy and malty taste with dried fruit, nuts, toffee and apricot. Rather rich. flemmingwillum (1206) - Nysted, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2011
Rating #592, bottle from Barley Wine
Easily opaque brown-red beer with a green hue. Ok head. Aroma has malts, loads of hops, caramel, alcohol, berries. Or as one of my friends called it: Beer sirup. Flavor of malts, liquorice, blackcurrant, raspberries, raisins, menthol, sweetness, alcohol and a medium bitter finish. Medium thickness, nicely soft. Good!
