Ølfestival 208, Århus. Clear and dark golden Has a lasting head, off-white. Aroma is hoppy, spicy, mint. Flavor is mainly bitter. Dry texture. Madsnp (933) - DENMARK - AUG 24, 2008
Bottle. Copper coloured with a creamy off white head. Aromas of grass, malt and grapefruit. Flavour of bitter hops, pine and soap. Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 13, 2008
courtesy of Laurent Mousson - a bit nervous at the opening, foaming out of the bottle; hazy red-orange colour under a huge pale beige foam; fairly hoppy nose showing some cream, almonds and lichies; solid malt backbone, slightly oily; a reasonable bitterness introduces a long creamy and fruity quite soft aftertaste skortila (5966) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2008
Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma has hops, citrus/grapefruit. Hazy, amber coloured with an off-white head. Taste is bitter, bit dry, has some grass and pine.Bit malty as well. Fruity. Good. JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2008
Amber-copper beer; good but vanishing cream-coloured head. Beautiful grapefruit nose, sucade as well; well-balanced. Soft bittersweet taste, again sucade or preserved orange. Very slick MF, bit sticky. Very good, hoppy, and yet balanced ale.

Deep copper, small creamy head. Sweet fruity hops on the nose. Quite lively on the tongue, needs a bit of a swirl. Decent sweet malts, prominent bitter hops, some soapiness. Leaves a tingly hoppy and slightly soapy finish. Good to the bottom of the glass, but leaves me a bit sticky and needing a drink.
best before 23.05.08. nice aroma at first (hoppy) but then i got some aged beer below that.. being that it’s not exactly fresh, it could be expected. looks great. clear dar yellow and a giant lasting vanilla-white head with small bubbles. flavor : hoppy hoppy bitter. yummy. a little watery but in a very refreshing way. bitterness is aslo a little sweet (caramel+something good i don’t know how to describe) aftertaste lasts forever. beneath the bitterness i get some fruit. caesar (7170) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 24, 2008
Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Clear orange color, short head. Nice hoppy aroma. Decent bitter pale ale taste. Bit dry. Geuzelambix (243) - København, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2008
A hoppy ale with a fresh taste. The palate is gentle and the flavor is bitter, a tad edgy and energy giving. Maybe not spectacular, but my favorite of the Djævlebryg. mjs (7582) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 11, 2008
(Bottle at Hilpeä Hauki on 2008-04-17) Light brown colour. A bit hazy. White small head. Hops in nose. A bit dry palate.Fruity taste which contains hops and some liquorice. A bit boring.
