50 cL bottle. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Slight fruity and chocolate smooth aroma. Fruity and hoppy bitter flavour at first. A decent portion of chocolate smoothness apears a second after this. Finish is rather smooth in flavour and mouthfeel with a dry hoppy bite into the far finish. Very nice. I remember tasting the first homebrew batch of this back in Autumn 2004, that was a lot more liqourice heavy compared to this - which barely has any liqourice at all apart from a minor edge into the far finish. If this had the smoothness and full body of Dark Lord or Darkness this would belong into the top 50. Ungstrup (39313) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2008
Bottled. A black beer with a slight brown shine under a huge dark chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, and coffee - medium roasted. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate and medium notes of cocoa, coffee, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish with a slight coffee acidity and a whiff of grapefruity hop note lingering. The alcohol is felt in the mouth and tickles the tongue lightly. joergen (29994) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 13, 2007

This was my favorite of the Nekron family, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Almost black, nice brown head. Aroma of cocoa, milk chocolate. Taste has lots of roasted malts, like a burnt ovaltine. Nice. cgarvieuk (26769) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 15, 2008
Bottle at home ... Thanks to Maria... hope to meet to at Copenhagen 08 Deep black thin lacing ... smooth silky chocoalte nose ... deep well fired but not burnt roast ... quite a bit of coffee and a little alcohol ... little tobacco... just a little bitterness with a hint of burnt malts in the linger. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 18, 2008
Bottled. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, licorice, vanilla, wood, caramel and some chocolateish notes. Flavuru is very much the same along with really big time smoke. Alcohol gives a nice warming completement to the brew. omhper (26217) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 15, 2007

(On tap) Clear and almost black with a reddish hue and a creamy, beige head leaving some pretty lacework. Very burned, coffeeish aroma. Very potent body with lots of sweetish, roasted malt and a distinct, burned edge. Heavy malt astringency. Lovely. 130507
