From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is spiced and roasted. Light alcohol presence. Flavour is sweet caramel malt and roasted. Ends mild spiced and roasted. Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2008
Black with red highlights. Lasting off-white head. Caramel and butterscotch dominates a simple aroma. Sweet and rich toffee flavour. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 12, 2008
Draught at the brewpub.
The best beer from this brewery. Dark brown colour with creamy head. Powdery chocolate in aroma, along with caramel and dark berries. Semi-sweet with pleasant rounded mouthfeel and good balance from the variation of malts, and accurate hopping. Bit of sweetish coffee here. thewolf (12590) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2008

By far their best beer. Pours a deep mahogany red with a wonderful, creamy, small, beige head. Aroma is pleasantly malty, some grain and good degree of roasted malts. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, but never too much. Nice combination of caramel and roasted malts. Hops and roasted malts combine nicely in the finish. Nice.
Draught at the Brewpub. Dark brown with ruby hints. Chocolate, coffee aroma which follows into the beer, a sweet, silky chocolate smoothness. Finishes very sweet unfortunately.

Draught at the brewpub during RBESG08. Very dark brown/ruby. Quite malty, but very drinkable, bit too syrupy on the malt for me, but not overly sweet. I can see that people would like this, but it’s too sweet for me I think. Aroma is good though. Fine. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2008
Draught. Ruby red colour, small beige head. Aroma is malts, yeast and some mild notes of raisins. Flavour is much the same with a bunch of yeasty notes thrown in. ogivlado (7810) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 9, 2008

Clear dark brown color, light tan head. Sweet and apple scent. Sweet malty taste. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness.
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown, lasting beige head. Careful coffee aroma. Medium dry and mediu bodied and clean mouthfeel. Mild and lightly roasty with notes of coffee. Fairly low biterness. Well made, but a bit clean flavourwise.
