750ml bottle, labeled Abt 6. Pours initially clear but increasingly hazy deep golden amber hue. A tall, spongy head of snow white froth slowly collapses to a short stack, leaving dense, hard swaths of lacing all over the glass. The nose is really quite nice, showing fresh, creamy, pillowy cereal malts with fruity, peppery yeast overtones. It is well attenuated, bordering on dry – just how I like it. Flavors are just as nice, coming across deceptively complex for something that initially comes across as simple. Again based in dry, clean, softly bready grain malt, the flavor shows balancing notes of white pepper and dried pineapple. Belgian yeast is such an integral player here. The palate is moderate in body, dry, crisp, and easy to drink. What more can you ask for? Delicious Belgian brew. Like a smaller Orval without the brett.
On tap at brewery (Abt 6). Pours a hazy golden amber color with a two finger off white head. Aroma of sweet spicy malt, doughy yeast, fruit and bubblegum. Taste of spicy and fruity yeast, light citrus hops and sweet doughy bread. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Leighton (22555) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2013
Sampled at the Funky 8 - Brooklyn, NYC. Good stuff. Not too sweet. Some spicy yeast in here, hints of bubblegum, ripe fruits, mellow hops. Nicely rounded. b3shine (9208) - Indiana, USA - JUN 29, 2013
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with dudeabide and the Mrs.). Looks good; a hazy vibrant orange with AMPLE off-white head. Smells solid; sweet; yeasty, and doughy. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel. Good beer. DocLock (11112) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 26, 2013
750 ml capped bottle, #102/180. Pours turbid dark straw with 2-finger fluffy well-retained white head. Nose is fruity and funky, with apple and pear notes, rock sugary malt. Tastes dry, floral, with notes of funky yeast, rock sugary malt, and backup hops. Complex and enjoyable. jeremytoni (3083) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - AUG 27, 2012
From a bottle poured a dark amber color with a good amount of head. Light spicy malty flavor with a quick finish.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2012 750 ml bottle. Cloudy brown with lacy white froth. Nose is toffee, grass, roses and grain. Crisp and lively medium body; a bit oily. Taste is apricot, lemon yoghurt, honey and parsley. Simple and clean with lovely floral notes. JoeMcPhee (9598) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2010
Tap at Mugs. Very pale straw-coloured beer with a sticky white head. The nose is a combination of lemony hops and a bit of spicy yeastiness. Fresh pilsner malt with a kiss of sulfur that actually works quite nicely in here. Spicy with a kiss of light bubble gum and fruity over a crisp, crackery dry finish. Fairly hoppy on the back... it’s quite a good take on this style. Kudos to the brewer. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - DEC 23, 2009
Tap at Mugs Ale House: Hazy light golden pour with a white film of head. Dry phenolic aroma with a biscuity malt background and a light bubblegum ester presence. Crisp body- dry and biscuity with a mild peppery phenol and noble hop presence on the back. A nice Belgian style session. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - SEP 28, 2009
Tap at the Grey Lodge. Pours a hazy golden with a medium white head that laced. Aroma of Belgian Abbey yeast esters, spicy notes, banana, tropical fruits and some peppery notes. Also getting floral and citurs notes along with bready malt. Flavor of the same spicy and fruity Belgian yeast notes, mixed citrus and bready malt. A really flavorful Belgian Ale for sure.
