Appearance: Black body with a dense and creamy long lasting tan head.
Aroma: Oxidized. Pleasant aroma otherwise. Light roast and chocolate.
Taste: Oxidized with light roast and some astringency on the finish. Light chocolate notes.
Palate: Medium bodied moderately carbonated.
Overall: Not awful, but definitely oxidized. Wouldn’t order again.

Pours dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma has dark chocolate and roasty charred notes. Flavor has really nice roasty/charred notes as well...a touch of nuttiness, and dark bakers chocolate to go with nice earthy hops. Mouthfeel is medium and silky/creamy with a dry roasty/charred finish lingering with dark chocolate and earthy hops. pretty direct and classic porter but tasty and well made! On tap at brewery. Pours a deep dark brown color with an off-white thin head that has spotty patch lacing. Smell is lightly toasted, light wheat notes and oatmeal, biscuits, light roasted malt and a touch of chocolate. Taste has a roasted character with a bit of sweetness, some vanilla, with well balanced coffee and dark chocolate on the back end. A little bitterness through the finish. Full body with low carbonation, and smooth.
