Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy Carolina muddy brown colored with no head. Nose is yeasty funk, apple, pear, lactic acid. Tastes tart, with notes of apple, pear, lactic acid, oaky spirits of the bourbon variety. Finishes tart, This one comes off like a barrel aged cider hybridized with some gose. keepersj12 (3114) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Very interesting brew that grew on me. The aroma had fruit but not pears, the bartender said it was figs. The flavor had the fruit sweetness and a bit of sour as well. Very refreshing. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JAN 17, 2013
From the tap poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Light sweet malty flavor with a lingering finish. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Draft at Dock Street. Poured a pinkish-red color with one finger of light pink head and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits. Tastes is sweet kiwi, tropical fruits, with a Jolly Rancher candy like finish. Interesting.
