COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bière d’automne, la Farandole possède une robe rougeoyante, rappelant les teintes des feuilles en cette saison magique. Un houblonnage généreux confère une franche amertume en attaque, et des malts caramélisés prolongent l’expérience gustative par une note plus douce, pour finalement laisser en bouche une fraîche sensation maltée. I bought this bottle at "les produits du terroir" in Lausanne. I drank it with one Italian friend today. In my point of view, it is an average beer. I was expecting something sweeter than usual for an automnal beer. I am maybe wrong but it seems to me that the taste is close to the crockus. It is bitter, hop, malt but it is not really sweet. The color is orange and copper, thin foam, regular carbonation. The final note is a bit watery.

Bottle 33cl, bb 9/2013, lot 8 -- Hazy dark brown colour with persisting beige head. Subtle honeyish malt aroma. Flavour is malty, traces of coffee and licorice. Omnipresent hops.

Bottle at yespr. Hazy orange brown coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, hops and grass with notes of berries. Fruity flavour of caramel, earth and hops. Spicy and hoppy finish.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Philipp Sigg and Thomas Schneider. It pours a hazy amber beer with a small head. Sourish nose which is reminiscent of burnt matches, cress and vinegar. Inviting. Chocolate showing up in the taste. Medium bodied. Strong artisanal components. My kind of beer. Quite delicious.

Light amber color, poor head. Pretty strong floreal hoppy aroma, and a bit honeyish. Weak mouthfeel, too bitter (too long hop infusion), more similar to a herb tea or camomile.
Poor, if not for the quite rare aroma.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2010 re-rated 10/2010, courtesy of Pierre-André Priamo and the Gab’s crew - pours a cloudy dark brown colour with a little dark beige foam left; slightly toasted malty nose with notes of red fruits and marzipan; sweet and with a good malt body, some bitterness before a long malty and hoppy finish showing notes of plum and biscuit - a pretty nice one
12/2002; 4.9% - golden-amber colour, no foam, peaches and unfermented malt in the nose, spices show up while the beer gets warmer, fresh and sweet with a long dry spicy finish (2/6/5/3/12)
