From a growler at Warners on the Bay. Apparently it’s a dark pilsner, pours almost black with a tan head, the hops flavour kicks in after the rich roasted malt. I liked it.
Bottle. Black and pored slightly lively.Malty medium body but nothing really distinctive about it. Bit of an underachiever. AshtonMcCobb (6498) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 11, 2017

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Pours dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of chocolate, light coffee, light citrus tang. Taste is more of the same. Interesting take on the style. Nice bitter finish. M_Sack (714) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 15, 2016
Bottle. Very dark brown/black, with latte coloured frothy head and strong lacing. Strong chocolate aroma, coffee, lick of citrus. Chocolate and coffee are the predominant flavours, but a great citrus lightness and slight bitterness. Slightly over carbonated. Great style that you don't see too much around the Aussie beer scene.
