From a growler at Warners on the Bay. Apparently its a dark pilsner, pours almost black with a tan head, the hops flavour kicks in after the rich roasted malt. I liked it.

M_Sack (661) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 15, 2016
Bottle. Very dark brown/black, with latte coloured frothy head and strong lacing. Strong chocolate aroma, coffee, lick of citrus. Chocolate and coffee are the predominant flavours, but a great citrus lightness and slight bitterness. Slightly over carbonated. Great style that you don't see too much around the Aussie beer scene. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a classy 500ml bottle euphemistically billed as a "black imperial pilsner" with BB 3/16. This is basically a hoppier schwarzbier with sweet toasty caramel malts on the nose and tongue before a medium-full lingering somewhat resinous dry hop bitterness takes over the palate. It pours cloudy dark red-brown with a rocky tan head. Hard to believe that this is still technically a lager.
