Westkyoto77 (640) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 18, 2015
On tap at Rainbow Hotel, Fitzroy. Bright cloudy gold, striking colour. Fine creamy head. Aromas of lemon, honey, spice. Smooth, creamy, medium body. Strong flavours, a little boozy, but very drinkable and quite interesting. A winner.

NBird (626) - Perth, West Australia, AUSTRALIA - MAR 19, 2015
Looks..golden, yellow tinge, med head. Smells..ripe banana, wheat, light waffle, hints if spice and citrus. Tastes..loads of bananas, buttery waffles, light caramel and vey light citrus.. 7.5% is reasonable well hidden.

varanid99 (1339) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 27, 2015
Yellow gold pour with tiny head, almost looks flat at first appearance but very fine bubbles all the way through it. Yeasty funk, a bit of banana and spice, a little lemon. Flavour is similar, banana, herb and spice, bread.

anstei (2608) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - FEB 25, 2015
On tap at The Local Taphouse. Pours golden. Citric soapy nose, but quite rich. The aroma also finds itself in the taste, which is enriched by sweet malts and fruity hops. A bit odd at first, but the longer the better.

Niksko (627) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 3, 2015
Pours a light golden orange with a smattering of fine white head. Nose is soft banana, bread dough, a little mango and pineapple. Flavor is lots of banana, candied peel, subtle spice, yeasty bread dough, grainy wheat, slightly sweet finish with a little bitterness. Medium to light body, surprising for a 7.5% beer, with fairly prickly carbonation. Not too bad, nothing spectacular.

500ml bottle from Beer Cartel with BB 1/16. ABV is now 7.5% for this seasonal release. Clear bright golden pour with a small white head ie. rather atypical for a Witbier. Nose offers sweet bready malts, alcohol, mild lemony citrus and a trace of leafy spicy yeasts. Taste is sweet with light spiciness and alcoholic presence. Palate is oily and medium bodied with a low bitterness. Not really a wit and a bit mixed up if you ask me.

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 25, 2015
Bottle from Mane Liquor. This is an odd one. Definitely works but not quite sure it’s a beer for me. It comes across like a banana milkshake. Very banana driven with some coriander focus and candied sugar. Gets a little cloying after a while. Not bad

Shark_Pants (765) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 7, 2015
Nice golden pour from a growler with medium size fluffy head. Lots of coriander, nutmeg, maybe cardamom, wheat grain and a bit of hay in the aroma. Quite sweet taste, with a light honey, spices, a little lemon and a hint of booze. A nice dryness in the finish helps avoid it becoming cloying. Not much bitterness. Medium bodied and a little sticky. Really good wit beer and very refreshing.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 4, 2014
on tap at the local taphouse in sydney. pale golden with a light haze and slim white head; curious aroma of citrus and passionfruit; not much sign of spice but a pleasant menthol finish. an unusual but tasty wit

Bathory (458) - Kverneland, NORWAY - JAN 8, 2014
Pours a golden colour with a nice white head that stays a good while. Wheaty aroma, some ligjt touches of tropical fruits, hay and some dough. Taste is pepper, baking powder at first, then some coriander, hay, barnyard and dough in the finish. Very limited biitterness in there. Soft carbonation which creates a soft and nica palate. A good one, which stands out a bit with the peppery and baking powder flavour.
