Mother Kellys. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and has decent fine carbonation. Slightly viscous pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Mild floralness turning sweeter. Very mild ripe citrus. Light finish shows a little wheaty malt. It’s fine. But surely there must be better beers to haul over from Down Under?
Keg at the hanging bat... Golden amber..... Small white head.. Soft sweet peach orange nose.. Juicy odd fruits.. Floral fruits.. Sofy herbal tones Stuu666 (15301) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2015
Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy golden, nose is burnt malty toffee, tomato, herbal, taste is juicy fruit, sweet, floral. allmyvinyl (11208) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2015
Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of tomato, herbs. Taste is bitter, more herbal notes. Bitter, oily finish. The_Osprey (9723) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2015
Keg at Mother Kelly’s. Clear orange, still, small white head, light lacing. Aroma is chalk, spoiled orange, syrupy sweetness and some burnt tyre. Body is medium, smooth, tingly carbonation. Taste is sherbet lemon sweets, some earth, wheat and sweet syrups. Weird sticky sweet caramelised ... almost sour and plasticky. Some promising flavours, but the beer is totally ruined by being oversweet.

on tap at the local taphouse in sydney. pale golden with a light haze and slim white head; curious aroma of citrus and passionfruit; not much sign of spice but a pleasant menthol finish. an unusual but tasty wit BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 18, 2011
Bottle thanks to daveA330. Pours with a hazy white-yellow hued body with a white head that slowly fades. Aromas of lemongrass, pepper, pine, windex, tropical fruit, perfume, florals, esters and orange blossom. Flavors of vanilla, a bready malt profile, floral, rose water, orange. Very flowery. Medium bubbles, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, finishes decently dry. A tasty and somewhat different wit. mkel07 (6549) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 14, 2012
On tap at The Scratch. Light amber to pastel yellow in colour with a strong steady head of white foam. Aromas of lemon, spice and fruit which filled the nose. The flavour, like the aroma, is quite fruity and there is a bit of zestiness and spice going on. This is a great beer for a hot summer’s afternoon. jamestulloch (4424) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 29, 2015
Keg from The Hanging Bat. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of lime, bitter lemon and chalky grain. Flavour of minerals, shower gel and orange flavoured sweets. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Doesn’t quite come together for me. hawthorne00 (4199) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 8, 2011
Growler, this year’s version is 7.5%ABV. Cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of banana, vanilla, coriander, lemony herbs (presumably lemon myrtle). Taste is quite sweet with _lots_ of coriander and a lemon myrtle pepperiness in a drying finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Spices linger for ages. A little lemony sourness would have made it even better. Very dangerous beer on a warm evening.
