4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had on tap @ Burger Bar in Vegas. Came a dark golden color with thin lacy head. Aroma is sweet and floral with extreme hoppy notes. Flavor is delightfully sweet with a nice bitter finish
butelkowany 14/09/2017. W aromacie mega słodowy, karmel, skórka pomarańczy i chmiele. Bebum (1061) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 11, 2017
Deep gold color, crystal clear, lacy. Full body, rich, silky, hot alcohol burn, dense in flavor, lingering palate. Sweet, some bitterness following it and preventing it from being cloying. Yeasty, alcoholic flavor, reminds me of Bourbon. Not as extreme as I feared, IBUs totally diguised by sweetness. Still, hard not to like it. - ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ciocanelu (2858) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - OCT 9, 2017
Hazy dark orange color with off-white head. Aroma has bittersweet dried orange peel and boozy orange liquor. Taste starts bittersweet with piney hops and orange peel but then the booze kicks in and burns your throat and insides. Medium body and carbonation. It has classic IPA flavors but with the alcohol overwhelming everything. Really difficult to drink. ipa4me4u (33) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 10, 2017
Didn't live up to the hype for me. It was a bit too much. Not because of the abv but because of how thick, sweet, and syrupy it was. I expected rediculous citrus, woodsy pine, and hardcore bitterness from it but to my disappointment it wasn't there. To me it was more like a barley wine DrunkSanta410 (970) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 19, 2017
Copper pour, hazy, white head. Aroma is boozy, light malty cracker, floral, slightly fruity hops. Taste is honey, malty Carmel, floral, moderately bitter. Solid.

Aroma: fresh hop, liqueur-spicy, sherry, citrus. Taste: liquor with noticeable peppery bitterness, candied fruit, sherry, citrus. Awesome.
Almost smelled like a gin when I opened the bottle. Smells sweet, juniper, lots of hop oils, alcohol. Taste is sweet, barley wine, tons of oiliness from the hops, bitter but balanced with tons of malt, some phenolic smokiness. Very nice beer, great depth, not what I expected. golden and endless white head. Lives up to reputation. 05barnold (44) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2017
Poured from the tap at the pub in DE. Holy shit this beer is good. Very little head. You can tell the high ABV from the smell alone. Would absolutely purchase and drink again.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 On draft at Craft Beer Cellar!
Aroma 6/10: sweet, maple, malty and very boozy aroma
Appearance 3/5: medium amber with small frothy head
Palate 3 /5: booze, booze, booze, with sticky resin mouthfeel
Taste 6/10: hits you hard in the face with malty sweetness. Eventually some pine flavors develop though I still taste maple-y sap.
Overall 14/20:For an imperial ipa sweetness is expected, though this takes it to another level. This reminds me more of a barleywine, without some of the complexity of barleywine. That's what takes this down a notch for me.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 It's got a lot of sugars to combine with its intense alcohol. The Hops and malts are subdued, but elegant. Would have again.
