I purchased this beer back in May and kept it in the fridge. I purchased it a more of a novelty, thinking that a beer with 20% alcohol would be a little too strong, but I was very, very wrong. Aroma was fruity with hints on apricots and sweet malt. Poured out clean clear dark amber with a very small head. Flavor was rich and complex and slightly sweet. Full rich mouth feel and great robust flavors of hops, malt, and fruit. I must say this is the very best IPA I have ever had. The alcohol was well hidden and didn’t over power. I just wish I had more!
355ml bottle from Elizabeth Station shared with George on Greenpoint campground. Slightly hazy golden with a tan head. Aroma is slightly bready, candied citruses. Taste is similar, very boozy. Quite good. rboozer (7) - - JUL 15, 2017 does not count

Had to rate because of all the FB ranting about it and in bev. Sam wants it pulled. Don’t know if I blame him or not but thought I’d get a rating in. Dark copper penny color and incredible hop aroma. Thick and kind of sweet it only downside, alcohol well hidden. Really good and really expensive. snoot8726 (98) - Terre Haute, Indiana, USA - MAY 29, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2017 Bottle into snifter. Pours a deep amber with a white head. Notes of floral hops and booze on the nose. Same on the palate with a bit of caramel. Nice slight booze burn on the finish. Great brew but not worth the price tag.
