Bottled. Very very tasty single IPA. This is my first experience with DFH. I have read many glowing reviews here and elsewhere about these brews. Great crisp head, great crisp flavor at the start, full hop flavor all the way down. As usual a good IPA is not for the wimpy fizzy yellow lite beer type drinker. This is for people needing a kick in the mouth and jolt to the nervous system. I cant wait to try the 90 and 120 minute if I can find them!

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2009 Pours a deep golden, head is a white film. Piney hops dominate the aroma, along with a butterscotch sweetness (not diacetyl). Theres a sweet malt character in the background of the flavor, along with a earthy & resiny hop character. Lightly resiny finish. A bit sweet for me, but decent when considering its wide distribution.

Pours a beautiful copper-tan colour with a minimally frothy head. Very well hopped. Mouthfeel could be smoother -- may lack malts (although, this is an IPA). Clean and perfectly bitter finish. Of the ten or so IPAs Ive had, this is my favourite.

Bottle. Definitely a quality IPA - I was expecting so much more after trying the 90 minute, which I love. Pours a crisp copper color with a pearly white head. Not a ton of aroma. Taste is pine and citrus with an uneventful finish. Nice body - very smooth. Just didnt make it for me. For availability and price Great Divide Titan and Bells Two Hearted are much better - in my opinion.

A beautiful clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is very soft hops. Hints of citrus and pine, but not very forward. Flavor is light, with a good bitter hoppy aftertaste. I can see this one frequenting my garage fridge for a hot afternoon quencher.

This is my go to, every day beer. Strong hops, a nice crisp flavor. Its got a fantastic flavor, but its not so strong that you can only drink one.

Looks great - somewhat hazy copper, with a good head and lacing. Hoppy nose. Solid piny taste. Some malt and alcohol. Good bitter finish.

bottle - Pours a slightly cloudy, orange-ish color with a moderate head that laces the glass nicely. The citrus hops aroma is great. The flavor was of course very hoppy, but not a bad balance either as considerable malt flavors come forward. The finish is pleasing enough. Heres to another fine beer from Dogfish Head.

12oz bottle poured a nice clear golden color with a great lasting white head. Aromas of nice pine and citrus hops with nice fresh malt. Taste was not to over the top, but nicely balanced with a good emphasis on hops. A great IPA with moderate alcohol that definitely could be a session beer.
