Currently on tap at my house. A very good session IPA. Pours cloudy and well-carbonated with a very thick pillowy head. Smells like strong grapefruit with a hint of yeast. Its crisp and refreshing with a nice bitter hop aftertaste. Delicious.

Bottle. Deep bolden in color. Stable, almost icy foram with lazy bubbles of carbonation floating to surface. Hoppy, almost buttery scent. Very, very smooth finish and no signature bite like most IPAs deliver. Could drink a dozen. Right now.

bottle. Pours clear golden with a very thin white head. Nice orange citrus aroma. Very balanced brew, good tasting. A little more of the citrus and some bready malt. Not really bitter, a little carbonated. Very good.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2007 Not as good as the 90 minute, but a great substitute. It has a hoppy crisp taste that will not disappoint.

i lined up dogfish heads "60 minute" to taste alongside their "28 minute" and the very well-reviewed "46 minute 9 second"-- plus a rare version of the "90 minute EXTRA"-- in which the brewers didnt actually put IN more hops after ninety minutes-- but just teased the wort by waving some enticingly over the pot for 10 more minutes. not surprisingly, theyre all pretty good. all hoppy and stuff. the 60 is goldfish orange, a brilliant clear mandarin orange, and the head locks on like porcelain on a old tub. every hop they put in this beer manages to come out in the aroma-- if they were visible it would be like the bats coming out carlsbad caverns: an uncountable multitude in a swirling blur. theyre bright and fresh smelling, alluding to strawberries and wet summer grass, white grapes and green peach with a firm undercurrent of sponge cake malts. endearing initial kitten-bites of bitterness dont sting but quench and amuse; woody malts offer moderate sweetness; the body is firmly mesomorphic, featuring age-appropriate carbonation, and there is finally a lovely lingering tang of bitterness in the finish. this was so tasty, ive just GOT to taste dogfish heads next experimental product featuring hop additions spanning a continuous fourteen month boil. yowza! thats gotta be waaaay hoppy, huh dudes?

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2007 22 oz bottle from Liq Solutions. Pours a semi-hazy golden color with a small head that qucikly dissappers. Subtle aroma with mostly citrus orange notes and a tiny bit of fresh bread. Hmm, this is more straightforward than i thought it would be. Basically starts out with hoppy orange and ends with hoppy orange and a bit of pine, and you can detect a nice caramel maltiness in the background. A bit acidic with a little burn in the finish. Actually pretty well balanced but very straightforward and very little aftertaste. Light to medium bodied. One dimensional but refeshing. This is what you might use to introduce someone to their first IPA, as this is the anti-GRAPEFRUIT rind or the anithises of the Green Flash West Coast IPA...Good session IPA and very drinkable, albeit non-flashy AND A BIT THIN. Not bitter at all. Closer to a nice English IPA than the typical American IPA.

Excellent ipa. Nice copper color. Great hop profile, with a fairly smooth bitterness. Piney and grapefruity aroma and flavor. Just enough body to sweeten it up a bit and round it out. Great session beer.

golden orange with a small creamy thick head. looks very carbonated and bubbly like a black girls behind. aroma is of corn, pie crust, and stale hops (its been sitting in my closet for over a year =[ flavor is bitter. it bites the backs of your cheeks. a real kick to the senses. im going to let this one warm up a bit here. see what it does for me. ok this shit is warm now: flavor is of peaches with alcohol and bitterness. the warming increased the bitterness and brought in a caramel flavor as well. the palate is medium to heavy creamy and med/heavy thick. ill brew.

Slighly redish gold pour. Nice inch of bubly head. Very hazy pour. Strong scent of bitter hops, ginger, fruit and some flowers. Very odd warming taste. Some alcohol, a strong hop bite, spice and a slight sweet hint. Bitter strong aftertaste. If it wasnt for that aftertaste this would be amazing.
