Somehow missed tasting or reviewing Dogfish Head’s flagship IPA all this time - anyhow this well-balanced brew will definitely now become a regular feature in my beer selection. From the bottle, pours a pale gold-tinged amber color with steady foam and lacing, hoppy but not resiny aroma of pine and citrus, some bready malt. Flavor follows as a more mellow and floral hoppy profile with a background of slight caramel malt, moderate bitterness that doesn’t stick to your palate. Northwest piney flavors cede to an aftertaste of citrus tang and orange rind. Medium-bodied and smooth, overall an enjoyable melding of East and West coast IPA accents.

Serving: from tap at Flying Squirrel. Aroma: moderate pine hops. Appearance: thin, white initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, medium-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter and citrusy initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light-to-medium bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: okay.

The perfect summer time IPA. Pours a light copper color with a piny floral scent. Hoppy without being too bitter on the palate; taste: orange, grapefruit zest, pine and lemongrass. Definitely a classic

Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have an abundance of floral hop.

Clean and clear gold color with a sizable head of white foam. The aroma is modearate in sweet citrus, amd lightly sweetened cereal. On the taste, semi-sweet oranges take center stage with some dry pine at the finish.

This is a fairly standard "old-school" IPA, which makes sense as this one has been around a while. It pours a fairly standard yellowy hue that is very clear and almost pale lagery. The aroma is faint, sorta grassy I guess but not much going on. The taste is bitter and piney, classic hop bite with minimal complexity but still pleasant and drinkable overall. This is what I order at the Cheesecake Factory cause it is the best thing they have there, fwiw. Overall, this is a classic, important, and good beer, but it doesn’t excite or inspire much devotion in me at least. Good for some cleansing ABBA after spending 4 hours solving a murder in a bonkers Japanese video game.

W nosie mało intensywnie trochę słodu, trochę ziół i żywicy, niewiele tu się dzieje. Barwa złota, klarowane, wysoka drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa piana. Butelkowane 09.20.2016

Color: hay/orange color, clear Foam: white, nice head stays some time. Smell: citrus, orange, hay, fruits, flowery, caramel.. Taste: citrus, caramel, hint of fruits, piney, not that much going on.. Soft carbonation, bitter with a long duration. Quality stuff, but don’t live up the hype. I was disappointed after waited for some time to get my hands on this. There is way better ones in the market. I hate how these ratings are tilted towards U.S. beers.
