Pours a golden amber with a frothy white head. Sweet caramel maltiness on the nose with piney, grapefruit hops. Very well balanced flavor. Sweet maltiness up front that blends into the citrusy hops in the end. Semi-think on the mouth. Not a whole lot more to say other than this is a perfectly balanced and altogether wonderful IPA. One of the best balanced I’ve had.

On draught. Pours a clear light yellow, with a moderate white head that lasts. Good lacing. Nose is a faint aroma of hops. Taste is a well balanced IPA, with enough malt backbone. Hoppy finish is not overwhelming. Good stuff.

Hazy amber. Medium body, moderately flavored, nicely but discretely carbonated, rich mouthfeel with just the right heat, long aftertaste. Mildly bitter, dry. Very hoppy, nicely malty background, good balance. One of my first favorites many years ago, not so special now. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
