3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Light orange color. Very clear. Medium head. Good retention. Aroma was crisp, fresh citrus with grassy notes; some nice caramel malt with some biscuity overtones. Flavor was well balanced and crisp. Middle-of-the-road bitterness. bitterness balanced by caramel. Mouthfeel was soft with low carbonation. Very good, but more of a session beer. This is not a put down. I have had too many "extreme" beers that fill the novelty niche. This one is comfortable and drinkable. Can I have another, please.
Golden hazy pour with a thin white head. Floral, citrus hop aroma. Taste has a lot of fresh hop flavor; juicy citrus fruits with a herbal bitterness that’s wonderfully balanced. Medium mouth feel with a good amount of carbonation. I really like this beer. Easily quaffable. Great go to IPA for the price. frothysuds (14) - Texas, USA - JUN 20, 2017

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Mooie moutige IPA, bescheiden bitter, fruitig. Mooie afdronk. Prima IPA! StoutBeerReviews (132) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 28, 2017
Had this guy on tap. Wowzer... bursting with citrus and tangy flavors with a mild bitter hop to balance it out. kinda malty too, really really tasty from the source. seymour (2001) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Drank from bottle at a concert in the park. Solid American IPA as described, firm malty base plus huge grapefruity, musky, piney hops, hints of honey and caramel. Lingering bittersweet aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth, no alcoholic heat at all. Good stuff, though less unique than it must’ve once been.
