COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Johnny Cask has entered the building! Weve retrofitted a 15 barrel tank to perfectly produce a very special cask conditioned ale (so, we have a little time to play around during winters at the Delaware coast). This beer, known as Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs with a special whole leaf cascade dry-hopping session. Post-hopping the beer gest transferred into firkins and dosed with fresh yeast and maple syrup from the ole family homestead (actually the first batch will be re-fermented with maple syrup from the farm up the road from ours since ours wont be ready until late March.

Only the ratings for bottles and single-cask pours of this should be rated. The 50/50 blends of 60 and 90 where they come from different taps are not rateable, and do not belong here.

Bottle pours cleanly with nice hazy coppery orange, little head. Smells caramel malty, subtle floral hoppiness and boozy. Tastes like slight pine needles, pleasant malty presence, little orange peel, chronic flowers, little cedar flavor nice crisp clean finish.

Bottle:   Dirty orange, hazy, huge fluffy off-white head, nice lacing.   Somewhat of a musty hoppy nose.   Seems straight forward.   Citrus based hoppiness on the tongue.   Nothing really to write home about.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Finishes slight sweet, silghtly hoppy, not too bitter.   Just a solid example of a clean well executed IPA.

Pours a clear orange-amber with a white head. Slightly oxidized aroma with slight maple malt and citrus. Massive bitterness and citrus hops on the taste. Maple and malt lend a nice backbone, without the maple being too pronounced. This is a well built beer.

This is an amazing blend! The maple syrup comes through in the nose and right up front. Great head retention. Bitter and sweet. Overall fantastic.

Bomber. Pours a hazy orange with monstrous white head, had to wait a bit for it to settle. Taste is nice balance of hops and maltiness, has a sweetness to it with some honey, citrus.

Whoa, great stuff! Beautiful hazy orange yellow with a foamy creamy white head, great lacing and retention. Smells of pungent tropical fruits - apricot, orange, grapefruit, and pineapple - caramel malt sweetness from the maple syrup I presume. Tasted refreshing, smooth, bitter and astringent - big citrus/tropical fruits, great malt backbone. Feels incredible - velvety smooth medium/full. Overall a fantastic incredible beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy gold with a stable white head and plenty of lacing. It has an aroma of grass, pine, and a but of city's from the hops, and the same up front in the flavor profile, followed by a sweet after taste with a hint of the syrup and a smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Opaque copper pour. Thick sustaining and very lacy white head. Flavor is great. Similar to 90 minute without as much booziness. Very complex hop aromas. Floral to citrus to spicy. Plenty if malt sweetness to balance it as well. Picking up caramel and maybe a little bit if the maple. Taste is great. Again very similar to 90 minute with a little less alcohol flavors. All the malt and hop flavors copy the aroma. Great beer. ---Rated via iPhone

750ml bottle. IPA brewed with honey. This was quite enjoyable and reminded me a lot like a less in-your-face version of hopslam. Its too bad this is priced out of a good session range. I could see myself drinking nice 12oz bottles of it.

750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber with a 2 finger rocky white head which took its sweet time settling down. Mild citrus aroma with a sugary sweetness. Fair amount of citrusy hop taste with a faint hint of real maple syrup. I was hoping for more maple myself. Nicely blended. Full palate.
