COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Johnny Cask has entered the building! Weve retrofitted a 15 barrel tank to perfectly produce a very special cask conditioned ale (so, we have a little time to play around during winters at the Delaware coast). This beer, known as Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs with a special whole leaf cascade dry-hopping session. Post-hopping the beer gest transferred into firkins and dosed with fresh yeast and maple syrup from the ole family homestead (actually the first batch will be re-fermented with maple syrup from the farm up the road from ours since ours wont be ready until late March.

Only the ratings for bottles and single-cask pours of this should be rated. The 50/50 blends of 60 and 90 where they come from different taps are not rateable, and do not belong here.

Drank from a 750 ml bottle served in a short pilsner glass. Very thick, fluffy head and a sweet pleasant hops aroma. Orange with light amber and a bit of cloudiness with a good amount of bubbles. Strong hops flavor with some additional sweetness and complexity that I'm guessing comes from the maple, although maple flavor isn't obvious. Great smooth palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank out of 750ml bottle in to short pilsner glass at home. Aroma- light notes of orange and hops. Not overwhelming. Appearance- light golden orange with frothy head and some carbonation. Makes you want to guzzle it. Very appealing Taste- good light flavor with smoky hops taste. A little more bitter than most IPAs. Palate- lightly burnt mouthfeel but not bad aftertaste. A little bitter as well. Overall- good IPA. Not the best but not bad at all

Bottle share from a big bottle. Pours very light in color, large amount of white head. The floral quality of the hops comes through in the aroma, along with a slight alcohol smell. It has a good malt background, the hops arent overwhelming up front, but come through alot in the aftertaste. Definitely tastes like a combination of 60 and 90 minute IPA, but I couldnt taste any maple syrup. Overall a solid IPA from one of my favorite breweries. I would drink it again.

Bomber Bottle with ample syrup. The aroma is hoppy with a sweeter, earthy smell. Hazy golden. The taste is hoppy with a twist. An earthy finish. The palate is ok. Overall, a decent beer. Would buy a pint.

750 ml bottle, pours nice orange with lasting finger of yellow-white head. Medium to full bodied and very smooth, perfect feel for IPA. Aroma is more subdued than expected, but has notes of burnt oak and citrus. Flavor is nicely balanced, caramel biscuit, maple, citrusy hops. This is an IPA with a big malt profile, which I actually like. It produces a very hoppy yet still balanced beer. Nice.

bottle, from Triangle Wine. good aroma, sweet. grapefruit, little candied sugar, toffee, clean copper orange color, good head, spotty lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel, bitter finish. I like it, the blend with the dry hops really come together nicely.

Bottle into tulip. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a very foamy head that lingers a long time. Great aroma of citrus, pine, barrel notes, vanilla, toast, maple, and grass. Taste is rich in flavor. Hops hit immediately along with toasted malt. Barrel notes, vanilla, pine in the middle. Finish is long, mostly toasted malt, grass, hints of maple and spiciness. Medium body, a bit foamy in the mouthfeel, and thats about the only knock on this. Really great IPA. Better than 60, 90 and 120 minute. Try this if you can.
