UPDATED: OCT 15, 2013 Pours real dark caramel with hints of red and copper. Thin and bubbly white head, which starts out at about a finger or less but thins out to the edge. Can see through this beer. Roasted caramel and maple incorporated in smell, along with some light floral and malt hops. Taste dominated by caramel with hints of maple and bready goodness. Mouthfeel is light, creamy and smooth with a bit of bite, not much. docsteigs (542) - Texas, USA - AUG 5, 2012
This beer was ok but expectations not met. Seemed like less hop aroma than 60 or 90; did not appreciate maple; attractive pour with bottle-conditioned haze; taste rich and malty with underrepresented hop presence IMO. Again, ok. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2012
750 mL bottle. This is a good beer. Don’t specifically get maple in the aroma (or flavour), but it does smell sweeter than the 60 or 90. What it brings to the aroma is balance. And what it brings to the mouthfeel is body. This is better than either of it’s parent beers, because it is more interesting. A shame it isn’t more common. someviking (132) - old bridge, New Jersey, USA - JUL 30, 2012
pours a hazy orange color with a lively off white head. aroma is a nice bouquet of citrus hops. taste is strong citrus and piney hops with a nice sweetness that i would think comes from the maple syrup conditioning. a little dry tasting but not bad. very tasty brew cfrancis (3444) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2012
Pours a dark copper brown with a big off white frothy head. Aroma is sweet maple syrup and earthy hops. Taste is a solid earthy hop bitterness coupled with sweet caramel malts and maple syrup. An interesting combination.

Pours hazy golden color with large head. Aroma of hops, fruits, mild grass and goose berry bush. Flavor of fruits, caramel, mild yeast, pale malts and some hops. Quite mellow, could have been a bit hoppier.

Aroma has biscuits, hay and hints of fruits. Flavour has bready malt, some citrus, mandarin and hints of resin. A bit too bready but decent anyway.
Pours a hazy, dark golden orange color with yellowish-orange hues and a massive 2.5/3 finger, frothy white head that very slowly settles into a lasting cap. Chunks of soapy lacing left behind.
Sweet yet earthy aroma with some grassy pine and sweet malt notes. The sweetness of the syrup and malts take away from the hops. Hint of caramel, toffee, nut and sweet maple. Too malt forward for my preference.
Medium bodied with some tight carbonation and subtle signs of infection. Balance of dry and sweet notes. Dry bitterness with some earthy/soily notes that get overpowered by malt profile and maple. Hints of toffee, caramel hazelnut and syrup. Too malty and sweet with little to no interesting hop flavor.
