A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall The Enamel Animal! 90 ibu

Amazing beer. Super hoppy, but balanced and not noticible alchohol. Large offwhite head, hoppy scent, delicious drink.

Typically IPAs are not my favorite, but this one will knock your socks off. Very well balanced hoppy finish that was not bitter. Settle for this one when you can’t find the 120, and don’t drive after you put one of these away.

Great IPA, very hoppy and flavorful. It was a pretty strong, as it is 9 percent, but definitely well balanced. This is a nice gem put out by dogfish head brewery.

Tasty IPA. Pours golden amber with thin offwhite head. Aroma is fruity and sweet with piney notes. Taste is hoppy and bitter with nicely balaced malt. Coating and sticky. Excellent big hop finish that lingers quite a while. This is a nice middleground between the 60 and 120 minutes.

I really enjoyed the bottle of 90 minute IPA dog fish head. Very tasty, balanced, hop and malt flavors coming togetherr for a delicious mouthfeel and flavor. I can’t believe the abv, very well-hidden. Very good IPA!.

On tap at the Tap House. Very tasty IPA...always solid. Big hop taste is bitter but very balanced. The malt comes out before the hops. A little too sweet, but very good.

Bottle - Pours golden orange with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy with hints of vanilla and citrus. Palate is medium in body with a good amount of carbonation. Taste has an upfront hit of hops with grapefruit and pine, followed by a touch of malty sweetness. Follow through is spicy bitter hops with a good alcohol warming in the aftertaste. Overall, this is an excellent double IPA. I’m still exploring the IPA and Double IPA styles, but can’t imagine that there are many better than this.

Bottle, dated 1st of May, 06, quite new, [think this would have legs....] Pop the cap and a burst of floral. Once in the glass a nice grassy aroma. Amber colored, slightly dark, light creamy head dwindles, with some lacing. Great balanced hoppyness. This is an imperial IPA [the 120 is a Barely wine] Very nice, wish we could get on the west coast, but then we do have Stone brewery....

Beautiful amber beer with wonderful floral hops. Moderate to thick creamy malt. The palate is fruity and vibrant with darker raisiny flavors. Stronger piney/citruisy hop finish that leaves you wanting another sip. A perfect IPA for hop lovers.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle: pours a golden amber and laces really nicely. aroma emits a lot of hops and malt. Very nice aroma flowery, and bready. flavor is very balanced. Really nice hop bite with lots and lots of malt like the label says. oily think mouth feel. Very good brew. Had it at the pub, but saw cases for $57 too bad its that much. re-rate: all thoghts are the same accept this to me now is very "catty" reminds me of the "cattiness" from the 120 min and it just isn’t as enjoyable as it once was.
