Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute I.I.PA., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall The Enamel Animal! 90 ibu

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 5/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 14/20

Pours a nice orange amber with a medium creamy white head. The aroma is fruity, malty, citrus, and pine. The taste is fruity, malty, and hoppy with notes of apricot, strong hop bitterness, and just a hint of roast. Balanced more towards the malt than I’d like, but still a very good DIPA.

12 oz bottle at the Cozy. Can't believe I haven't rated this yet, but honestly, it's been years since I remember having this last. Unusually sweet malt aroma. Almost banana like. Flavor is a sweet malt as well. Insanely rich. Caramel malts, little hop profile to go off of. Or at least it's buried from the malt profile. Harsh IPA overall, and I feel like it always has been. Surprised this is so highly rated. Added to a retry list.

Nose is mainly pale malt, some honey-resiny notes and a touch of ripe banana. Slick, oily mouth feel. Medium sweetness, nice hop flavors and a backbone of bitterness. Long hoppy finish, some saltiness. A terrific Imperial.

Tap, Red Rock BBQ, Ypsilanti, MI. Copper appearance, tropical spice aroma. Mild flavour. Apricot and white pepper. Long slight resin finish.

Not the hop bomb I expected. Very good however- huge malt that provides balance. Even at 9% it doesn’t overwhelm. Very very good

BeerdedDave (2086) - Beckley, USA - JAN 1, 2018
clear amber color; nice, citrusy, piney hop aroma with a bit of caramel malt; medium bodied caramel malt base with a lot of piney, citrusy hops

Pours orange with an off-white head. Aroma is malt and citrus. The taste is immediately complex. Dark fruit, citrus, and strongly malty. Much maltier than other similar ABV IPAs. The malty, complex flavor is nicely balanced by the hop character. Excellent beer.

Bottle, 355 ml from local deli in Brooklyn. Pours cloudy golden with medium white head. Vague hoppiness, malty, caramel, some ripe fruit, some pine, sweet, some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Seems dead, candidate for re-rate.

rosskyle (835) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 19, 2017
Served on tap at the Philly Airport. Slight haze amber color with an off white head. Tropical fruit and hops aroma. Malt caramel copper with a bitter finish. Heavy body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
