This deep amber hued APA, or American Pale Ale, was brewed with pale malts munich and crystal, and a dash of black malts along with “Experimental X”, Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, Palisade and Willamette hops. It was then fermented with our house Doggie ale yeast. This one is pretty straight forward, and tasty. The aroma is dominated by citrusy American hops, with bready and toasty malt taking over in the flavor. The finish is crisp with a touch of bitterness.
