If I seem ’nice’ on my ratings maybe it’s because I have different tastes and have chosen good brews by luck that and the specific store I go to to get these underground brews know how to hook it up. Thanks Randy! This brew is still rockin’. Not yet near an 180 degree tilt. Poured in glass a nice clear orange-red with lots of carbonation bubbles. Little head. Aroma was sweet, berry was detectable as is the malts. In mouth is very thin, coats the palate medium, goes down really smooth, follows with berry sweetness. Crisp, refreshing and great as well as complex. Cheers..... kylechaney (10) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 30, 2012
Tastes very similar to dfh red and white. The alcohol is noticable but does come on slow. The fruit and tartness really pops. Awesome smell, great color, great beer. We sell it at the bar I work at for $19 in a 26oz bottle. Not a go to beer because of price but worth the money. Dfh does it again DaveBrewer (16) - Florida, USA - FEB 11, 2010
Very flavorful. Nice hint of blueberries but not overpowering. Base beer is a nice belgian style. dabubbleboy (73) - Virginia, USA - MAY 15, 2011
A perfect amount of berry favor and very refreshing. Perfect for the summertime.

Reddish amber with lasting lacy slightly pinkish head; sweet fruity aroma of berries; Flava is softly tart and sweet wild berries blended with a caramelly maltiness; feels surprisingly rich and thick with fizz; finishes tart

REALLY impressed by this beer! Pours a ruby red to amber with white head that goes away quickly. Musty notes as well as fruity ones in the nose. Finishes clean. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - SEP 17, 2011
On draft at The Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell during Dogfish takeover night. I know my score is high, but I like this style and thought this was a standout. This hit on every category for me. Aromatic, rich and just delicious to savor. Worthy of seeking out. Hopefully, a bottle will be similar in quality as the draft.

Appearance: Redish to Violet Color with a nice creamy white head
Aroma: Sour berry very refreshing
Taste: Bright and Sour With age the malt shall take over and become very well balanced
Mouth Feel: Crisp and Refreshing with tartiness from the fruit
With age this brew will become a beautiful marriage between fruit booze and malt! I highly recommend to age for 1-3 years!!!!!

Nice fruity aroma. Nice crisp Belgian freshness and pepperyness. Heavy fruit flavor and lightly hopped. This is one of our favorite beers. It is wonderful. With chocolate cake or cookies.
