Bottle. Pale straw colored body sits underneath a somewhat fizzy head that started a little over one finger high. Aromas are of champagne, peach, a little bit of a tart gueze like scent too. Flavor is remarkably tart with a touch of peach flavoring that comes and goes as the tastes develop. Every now and again there is a sour wheat presence. I really liked this... unlike anything Iíve had up to this point.

Pour is a lemon juice lookalike with a large white head. Aroma was nothing at first but then the peach finally hit me. Flavor is super sour with some peach and lemon juice. I kept saying "interesting" as i was drinking this. Refreshing but one is plenty in a night.

Very nice. Creamy and tart. Quite peachy. A bit like a liquid, tart peach cobbler.

Pours very light hazy yellow with a thick and soapy white head. The aroma is all about peaches - very natural smelling. Thin crisp grainy body with subdued sharp carbonation. The flavor starts quite sour, wheaty, grainy, dry peach and spices. The finish adds lemon-ish citric acidity and is very short lasting. This is a nice refreshing summer thirst quencher.

Bottle: Poured very light yellow, lightly spritzy. The aroma is definitely there, but doesnít have much of a discernable character if maybe a bit of fruity peachiness. It drinks quite tart and sweet, if not quite as over the top as a true Berliner, with just a light peachiness in a canned fruit salad type of way. Good, but not up to the usual awesome standards of DFH. (#3038, 7/27/2007)

OK so, until I read what a "Berliner Weisse" was, I really thought this was not very good. However, it seems to fit the description very well, despite the fact that it is too sour for me. Still canít give it top marks, but I guess DFH knows what they are doing.

12oz bottle dated 6/1/07. pours slightly hazy straw with white head. nose musty, peaches. flavor tart at first but that fades intoa dull peach juice. flavor really lacks depth and finishes short. sorta buttery. DFH what have you done for me lately?

Pours cloudy yellow. What more can I say about this than peaches. Peach dominates the aroma and taste. The taste does have a wheaty quality. Very tart. The peach taste reminds me of a peach jolly rancher. It is somewhat refreshing in the heat.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy light yellow color. Very thin aroma... yeasty... the peaches donít come through much. The taste on this one blew me away though. Unique. Nice sourness to it, strong peachiness. The finish is a little more subdued... citrus peel, yeast... more hefeweizen. Be careful with this one, itís tricky. ;-) My favorite DFH.

Draft. Very interesting beer. I could really tatse the peach flaor although it tasted too much like pectin, very sweet and drinkable, balances spicy foods well.
