tompete (380) - Tillsonburg, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 30, 2018Pours a beautiful and clear dark orange with a fine off white head. Aroma is mellow spicy hops and base malt. Flavour is slightly sour with some citrus, but warmth from alcohol. Finish is very nicely citrus and bitter.
MetalNHopHead (2385) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - MAR 28, 2018Dogfish Head's Flesh & Blood IPA does have a nice amount of zesty and citrusy character. While the juiciness could be even stronger, Flesh & Blood has an excellent balance with moderate bitterness and a crisp feel. A bit of biscuit malt and grass in the background. I found myself wanting another.

A- Grassy, dank, mild citrus.
A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head.
T- Bitter, orange peel.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.
O- A pretty normal IPA. Plenty of bitterness and a bit of citrus. I hoped for a lot more orange flavor in here but did not get it. Everyone is head over heels that DFH is now in Nebraska and while I am excited, I am still struggling to find a ton of joy in any of their hoppy beers.
raymow (1966) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 22, 2018can - great reddish orange color. Very good citrus/hop aroma. Bitter citrus hop flavor. Needs some sweetness for balance.
vomit (306) - USA - FEB 22, 2018As that oriental sage and Philosopher, Slim "The Korean Nightmare" Kang once said, "how about a double dose of that bitch?" I can see having more than one of these.....that is if I was out of Hamm's, Hamm's Light, Blatz, Mountain Creek, Boxer and about a dozen others. Only time will tell if the "Dogfish" I unleash into my mightily suffering toilet bowl will be a mess of flesh and blood.....I hope not, but it may be so. Or not. Viva L'Blatz!
