Aroma: fig and raspberry preserves, you can sniff the booze right into your throat, merlot wine cork, maybe some rose, very complex; Appareance: nondescript, hazy autumn orange; Taste: I expected tart, but none whatsoever, instead, very sweet, a lot of fig, truly, exactly like a port but with a little carbonation, some walnut maybe, of course raspberry (black, not red), I expected something like New Glarus’s offerings, but this was nothing like those, quite unique, and, again, quite complex; Palate: warm feel in the gut, very drinkable, but I’d sip it, just a general fruity aftertaste; Overall: my wife and I just had our 2nd child, another girl (now I’m outnumbered 3 to 1), anyhow, I’ve been saving this one for about a year now, waiting for my wife to enjoy it with me, she loved it too, we’ll buy another if we can find it at our FLW&SS, highly recommend it

Hazy deep pinkish copper with no head. Rich boozy fruity aroma with lots of raspberry and peach and hot spirit tones. Full deep fruity body with raspberry purée with strawberry whiskey and a warming boozy finish. Pretty warm and full, lots of red fruit purée and a bit of whiskey.

the color of the brew might be its most appealing aspect. sickly sweet. raspberries evident. big boozy lingering warm finish. if you want an instant buzz, this concoction’s for you, but definitely not a great representation of a fruit beer.

Cloudy amber pour, thin off white head, and a high effervescence, though with lots and lots of really tiny bubbles. The head, although small has great retention and the beer coats the glass a bit. Aroma is raspberries, lots of toffee, doughy yeast, caramel, alcohol, raw nuts and toast, smells like it’s really sweet. Flavor is raspberries, caramel, lots of toffee, alcohol, dark fruit, a hint of licorice, red bell pepper, freeze dried berries and odd perfumey note. Pretty heavy body, creamy, chewy entry, light, but quite sharp carbonation, fairly dry (though still pretty chewy) finish, moderate alcohol burn. Pretty tasty, surprisingly clean, very much a Barleywine with berries, but pretty light on character for the big abv%

Chugged this in under 7 seconds. Drank pretty good. Some fruit, lots of sugar. Nice little buzz. A little pricey. RichTV is on welfare. 🤑

Poured from bottle date looks like 2009 ruby red with a nice tan head and good legs. Strong aroma of raspberry dark fruit and caramel. Taste is dark fruit berry jam lingering alcohol finish. Wow.

Wooh! Quite nice and unexpected.Puts most fruit beers to shame. Not overly sweet as there seemed to be an nice hop balance. Raspberries through the aroma and flavor. Some spice. Pretty color and great palate. Weighty and smooth with a slightly dry finish.

Bottled. Really strong raspberry aroma. Color is a reddish amber. A lot of booziness in the taste.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with a white head. Aroma is candied cherry, some caramel and dark fruit, really nice. Taste is cherry and dark fruit.

Syrupy orange pour with a tall head. Fruity and fusel alcohol aroma with light caramel malt. Fire nose. Thick body. Very raspberry syrup from beginning to end. The fiery booze is surprisingly well hidden but the fruit. The heat of the booze shows itself by the burning sensation on the tongue much like a shot of something. I was a bit worried about this initially, and it’s gonna put me on my two-pack for sure, but it’s surprisingly "easy" for the abv.

Holy alcohol batman. Agree with some others that fruit flavors finesse gets lost in the boozing. Smells good. After taste is a bit harsh. But after buzz makes it all better.
