Draft at brewpub. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Massive, massive coffee notes on the nose. Nice roasted coffee quality on the to be as well. It’s like they poured a pound of ground into the glass. Finishes nice. One of the best coffee beers I’ve had. magsinva (1413) - Virginia, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Tap at DFH pub rehoboth beach - pours pitch, a bit of tan head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark roast coffee, wood smoke, dark chocolate, malt. Taste is sweet with hints of acid. Overall, finally a coffee brew where the coffee enhances, but doesn’t overpower. Hope they bottle this one! beachbum25 (1092) - Powellville, Maryland, USA - NOV 15, 2012
On tap @ the Brewpub-Dark brown pour w/a slight tan head. Strong coffee aroma. Strong flavors of coffee, a little chocolate & nuts, but mostly coffee. It was like drinking an espresso shot, had a lot of kick to it. You aren’t gonna be able to drink a lot of this, but it would be great after dinner w/a sweet desert. You could have your coffee & beer at the same time. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Serving: Draft at the brewpub in Rehoboth. Dark brown pour. Coffee and chicory nose. Medium coffee flavor. Slight licorice on the back end. Slightly slick mouthfeel. I really liked the variety in flavor of this brew. Tasty and recommended!
