(draft, Gaithersburg) White head with nice lacing atop crystal clear straw body. Aroma is moderately sweet, apple, honey, some spice/grass, light grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grassy, some grapefruit/earthy, light honey, apple. Light-medium body, some crispness, light duskiness, acidity, very drinkable. This is great! I’d like to do a side-by-side with Prima Pils. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - SEP 9, 2007
Draft, Gaithersburg location. Pours a clear, medium golden yellow color; fluffy, bright white head with great lacing. Served very cold, with mineral and grassy / grapefruit hops slowly emerging from the aroma. Very juicy hop character in the mouthfeel (pilsener, my ass) showing a strong pale ale character: resiny, chewy grapefruit and herbal hoppiness, with a light nondescript sugar character underneath; solid hop character with minimal astringency. Medium, grassy and herbal hop finish; slightly orange. mnicole (15) - asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 30, 2007
on tap at rehoboth brewpub. a very nice sessionable pilsner. lots of hops flavor with a sweet aroma. not your typical pilsner but isnt that what you expect from dogfish. Jmichael (640) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 27, 2007
pint at brewpub rehoboth. pours a clear gold with mild head and carbonation. sweet fresh hoppy aroma, nice light hoppy quality with no bitterness. fresh hops thru to middle, good sessionable beer, mild dry finsih. docsteigs (542) - Texas, USA - AUG 25, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2007 Very nice pils from Dogfish. Tons of hop taste makes it different from any pilsner I’ve had in awhile; but to be expected from Dogfish!

On tap-@ Rehoboth Brew Pub. Poured a clean golden color w/little head. Definite hop aroma. A lot of hops on the front end for a pilsner! Has some grain/grass, some bread dough, but mostly hops. I didn’t get a lot of Malt balance out of this brew on the finish, kind of dry, seemed kind of one dementional to me. I’d perfer a 60 or 90 Minute to this. Not Dogfish’s best effort IMHO. Drinkable, but not much more. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - AUG 24, 2007
On tap at the Rehoboth brew pub. Pours a hazy golden with a medium bubbly white head that left some nice lacing. Aroma of bready malt, citrus, tea, nice hop presence, kind of doughy. Flavor of tea, hop bitterness, citrus, some earthiness, bready malt sweetness and hop flavor. bfeldmann (1050) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - AUG 23, 2007

Draught @ DFH Rehoboth: This one pours a hazy, straw yellow color with a bit of a white head on it. It leaves a fair amount of lacing down the glass. There are definitely some hops to the nose. Quite the hop bite to the taste. Strong, but not overpowering. This is well balanced with the malts. No sweetness to this at all, and a bit dry in the finish. Nice. UPDATED: AUG 24, 2007 Clear golden yellow with a small white head that clung to the glass. Hoppy citrus and grain scent. Sharp grapefruit and hop notes hit first, along with cereal grain. Finish was bracingly bitter and dry, with lingering pine notes. Very flavorful but light and refreshing, good summer beer.
