In DH brewpub, Rehoboth DE.....poured a murky rusty tan [hard to be certain it’s so dark in there!] with a beige thick head. Nice nose, hard to identify specific fragrances. Murky tasting - thick, not smooth, and a pilsner ? That’s a misnomer if ever: this was so hopped up I thought the server gave me an ale. Great drink tho. kegoguinness (45) - Dodge City, Washington DC, USA - OCT 9, 2007
draft. One of the best pilsners I’ve ever had. More flavor than Prima Pils. There is a spiciness not usually found in a pils. Maybe it’s not to style, but who cares? This is a pils I can get excited about! Not your father’s boring, blonde bitterless bottle of Pilsner. RolandTower (26) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 16, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2007 Clear golden yellow with a small white head that clung to the glass. Hoppy citrus and grain scent. Sharp grapefruit and hop notes hit first, along with cereal grain. Finish was bracingly bitter and dry, with lingering pine notes. Very flavorful but light and refreshing, good summer beer. mnicole (15) - asheville, North Carolina, USA - AUG 30, 2007
