Birch syrup and cranberries in the aroma. Amber colored beer with a thick long sustaining white head with small bubbles. Flavor includes a slight pleasant fruit tartness. A noticeable bitterness on the end. No hops present. Mouthfeel is medium body. Overall, an interesting beer. Seems like a good beer to drink on a hot summer day.

Bomber into wine glass. Now comes off as raspberry and strawberry. Plus ruddy orange. The mouth is a swirl of indistinct fruit, a touch of wood, and vague herbal backbone. Short finish with more acid and herbal kick. Kind of a sophisticated fruit punch? rocbyter (2118) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - SEP 29, 2016
Sharp sweet fruit aroma. Cloudy orange color with a large white head. Moderate sweet beginning that gets stronger in the finish with spots of tart bitterness. wlajwl (6738) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - SEP 1, 2016
Aroma is funky berries and mild honey/band-aid. The flavor is Scandinavian berries, mild honey, malts and a tart/sweet finish. johnnnniee (4236) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 18, 2016
Sample while checking out the expo at HomeBrewCon.
Slightly hazy light copper color with a decent off white head. Tart berries light earthy herbal something to counter. Weird for sure but it kind of works. pumpmaster (1393) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2016

Large botle served in a Belgian snifter. Bottle Date: 8/6/15
Appearance: slightly hazy copper-amber; not much lacing gets left on the glass, though.
Aroma: fruity, moderately strong and pleasant. Suggests both tart and sweet elements. Hints of honey and berries.
Taste: Strong. Tart and sweet in about equal measure, with a bit less bitterness. Cranberry is pretty obvious; lingonberries less so; birch syrup not at all. Suggestions of plums and faint cherries.
Feel: Near medium carbonation. Medium-full body; near puckering tartness.
Overall: very interesting but not challenging. I’m glad I got to try this. Caution: very well hidden alcohol. CObiased (496) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - APR 10, 2016
Bomber - Weird but well made. It looks like a typical amber ale....clearish colored amber ale with a med off white head. However, the aroma is fruity....cranberry, sour plum, wild yeast and raspberry. Tartness! I taste more cranberry, dry hibiscus, crabapple and a hint of cereal malt. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 8, 2016
Pours a deep amber. Aromas of dark berries/wood and a hint of grass/hay. Flavor of semi-sweet malts and mellow berry taste. I was really surprised by the overall flavor of this beer, excellent. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 20, 2016
bottle - Pours amber and smells mainly of tart cherries. I see it doesn’t have any cherries in it, but that’s what I thought of. It has a sweet, malty flavor with loads of tart berries. It’s medium to full bodied and the 10% abv is mostly hidden. Very enjoyable and interesting beer. Leafs93 (2289) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2016
Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is earthy, cranberry, raspberry(maybe the lingonberry) and herbal tea. Taste is acidic berry bitters with a touch of sweetness. Medium bodied, slick texture and overall very solid. Dangerously deceptive 10%, delicious.
