Not too special. Nice hop flavor. Nice flavor in the body I’m not totally familiar with. Enjoyable. Good Sierra Nevada fresh hops. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 12, 2013
750ml from CBX, Charleston. Nice looking beer, deep orange and almost pink grapefruit in places it seems. Full head, lustrous and elegant. Nose is initially bright and resinous, but quickly seems to turn into that sweetness I get from most DFH beers (hoppy ones very much included). Robust body, nice to savor on that level. But it comes across a bit too sweet again, with notes of honey amid the strong malt presence. rmussman (1701) - California, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Sampled in the big bottle. A really smooth and refreshing ale. Not a huge hop palate but very nice drinking. trujahwarrior (515) - Monroe, Washington, USA - JUN 8, 2013
750 ML bottle poured into my Spigalau ipa glass. Pours a clear orangish amber color with a thick fluffy white head that leaves awesome lacing. Smells of wheat, caramel, citrus and butter. Tastes of all the same things but is a little on the sweet side which was unexpected also getting a sour note on the back end as well. Mouthfeel is mild and creamy with great carbonation and a dry finish. This is what I would expect from 2 of the most popular hop based breweries. You can definitely taste the influence from both west coast and east coast. It turned out well. This is really well balanced, I can’t even tell its a 8% abv beer. Cheers! 5 June 2013, bottle, tasted with DFH's new tasting glass! Yellow, clear, steady bubbles, thick white head. Nose is rich granola malt, big grassy hops, moderately sweet alcohol. Med body and moderately fizzy. Very nice and refreshing. Sugary, grassy hops, mild golden syrup, some botanics.

Nicely balanced brew. Buttery mouthfeel, especially for a sweetly hoppy IPA. Could complement a wide variety of meals. dogfishho (669) - Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA - JUN 2, 2013
The hop profile is funky and earthy but not all together appetizing. On the palate there isn’t anything terribly unique there, but it is a decent IPA. XaenDovet (1281) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle share. Gold with suspended sediment. Aroma of spices, yeast, caramel, hay, funky sour. Taste is the same. Dry finish keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2013

Appearance: Very slightly hazy amber body with a creamy light tan head.
Aroma: Caramel malts with a touch of grapefruit and pine.
Taste: Sweet caramel and toasted malts are balanced by orange, pine and floral notes. Bitterness is light to moderate.
Palate: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is a bit of a let down, nothing about this stands out. It’s easy to drink, but I can’t think of any reason I would buy this.
Pours a clear orange, very nice lasting head that throws a great lace, I suppose from the wheat content. Aroma is lightly of greenish citric hops, faint caramel malt. Flavor is a match, Malt sweetness, a hint of grain, followed by balancing bitterness. Hop character is remarkably subdued, slightly earthy in nature. Really lovely balance. I wish the hop flavors had been more assertive, but this was a very nicely made beer. Probably better than this score indicates.
