hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Smooth malt, trace of cream. Light hops - pine with a touch of mint and quite bitter on the finish. Finishes smooth. A touch disjointed but quite drinkable. #644 hops in this one as well as Bravo.
Bottle at Sander’s place, NYC. Pours clear gold with a fine, creamy head. Sugary malts and ripe citrus in the nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with ripe orange, bread, grapefruit. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warm, fairly resinous finish, bit of caramel, grapefruit, orange. Sweet, decent. fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 3, 2015

Hazy golden color, small head. Moderate fruity aroma, light biscuity malts; good body strength, good malt flavor, a soft pale malt, it comes with a pleasant light sweetness, and a good portion of fruity hops. Strong bitterness, but that was expected.
I guess that fresh and from tap this could be great. Appreciated mostly because of its balance.
750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma of corn malts upfront, a little caramel and mild earthy piney hops in the background - doesn’t smell like an IPA. Flavour is bizarre -- seems almost like an adjunct-infested macro lager, but at the same time not so offensive -- with notes of corn, English-style piney hops, biscuity malt, and some grass. Would’ve never guessed this was supposed to be a double IPA if I didn’t know -- seems almost like an English macro lager. Not a disaster, but way off-the-mark nonetheless.

Bottle shared with Jcwatts. Part of 5K backlog. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose and taste of grape musk, pit fruit, sweet malt, banana, wheat and sugared caramel. Medium body. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Golden amber pour with a white head. Really intensely sweet on the nose. Big bread, grape, and almost vanilla aromas. Berry, some grass, and citrus peel. Light pine, caramel, cotton candy, and a light spice note. The flavor is almost cloying. Intense caramel, cotton candy, white grape, and sweet fruit. Some citrus and pine hop flavor and bitterness. Light grass, mild floral notes, and a hint of spice. bhensonb (15751) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Capped 750 from Capitol Beer. Pours orange gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of hop and grapes? Med body. Flavor is wheaty, fruity and hoppy. It’s quite hoppy, yet it’s suggesting dessert. Finishes off getting more wheaty, but it’s amazingly tasty in a sweet way when it’s not sweet. Meanwhile the head started lacing. Interesting that it sort of comes out like rye in the finish. Quite tasty ale. Ratman197 (15354) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 24, 2013
750 ml bottle poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of carmel, candied orange, peach and floral notes. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, peach, candied orange, earthiness and floral notes with a smooth dry lightly bitter lingering fruity finish. DSG (15237) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 14, 2013
Bottle shared by Ariel at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Ariel. Clear deep golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, slightly caramelly, with a bit of hops, somewhat citric and slightly stale. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of caramel and honey notes and a moderately bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. Alright and pretty easy-drinking considering its strength, but not great.
