3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a growler into the special glass that made just for this beer! The glassware is cool man!
A: Pours with a creamy white head which is explosive and dies down to be perfect. Great orange amber color with a deep hue.
S: Pretty good on the smell. Hints of citrus.. orange zest. Subtle floral note. Malt in the finish.
T: Tastes is pretty good but nothing great. Bitterness is a little overpowering compared to other notes.
P: Solid feel on the palate but sits a little dull and watery.
Overall.... I totally bought this beer for the free glassware. That being said, the beer isn’t bad, bringing some good flavor notes, but it isn’t spectacular either. It drinks like an average IPA.
Pours a nice clear amber color. Aromas of citrus and pine hops. Flavors of grapefruit and orange. Nice hop flavor with a spicy edge. GenDV138 (7285) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JAN 23, 2016
750 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Clear orange with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of caramel, honey, aged hops and floral notes, stone fruit, orange citrus. Tastes of citrus, candied fruit, aged hops and floral notes, a little pine and hop oils. Medium body with a dry finish. Didn’t (unintentionally) age as bad as I thought it would. halfonit (1366) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 13, 2015
This bottle was aged 2 years so I’m really looking forward to having this badboy. Pours a nice and cloudy deep golden, amber color with a thick off white head. Aroma is of fresh citrusy hops, oak, the floral notes are really fresh too, some earthiness, and a little soap. Lacing is a little loose. Nice and tasty palate. Flavors are of hops, citrus, floral, sweeter malt undertone, and a little oak. Dry finish. Great stuff. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 3, 2015

Hazy golden color, small head. Moderate fruity aroma, light biscuity malts; good body strength, good malt flavor, a soft pale malt, it comes with a pleasant light sweetness, and a good portion of fruity hops. Strong bitterness, but that was expected.
I guess that fresh and from tap this could be great. Appreciated mostly because of its balance.
Bomber as a Christmas present. Pale yellow. Big fluffy head. Fresh hop aroma. Semi sweet flavor with a boozy finish. Some tropical fruit in the hops. Nice. The boozy flavor is a little much, but a very pleasant brew.

Dark cloudy yellow with creamy foam. Wonderful malty caramel flavors with thick resinous sweet hop flavors. Nice coffee in the finish. Excellent! DarLeeMa (20) - New York, USA - DEC 28, 2014
A great beer with the look I like. Cloudy and yeasty looking with an aroma I loved. 8% but didn't taste like it. I'd definitely drink this one again.

Bottled 01/29/13 - Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of aged hops, vegetables, caramely malts and mild hints of hops. Taste is sweet, malty and caramely with hints of toffee, aged hops and citrus. Finish is crisp, malty and sweet with loads of caramel, toffee and hints of aged hops. Would probably be pretty good from a fresh bottle, but this one is just way too old.
The aroma is hops and malt; caramel and spruce/grass. Pours a clear copper/orange with off-white head, mostly diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy and the carbonation average, the finish bitter. Very good. bbertels (485) - NORWAY - OCT 24, 2014
Bottle. A somewhat strangetasting IPA; some caramelly malts, some wheat taste and a slightly off-hand, bitter hoppy taste. Tried to warm it a little but still found it to be a bit too unbalanced (and not in an interesting way) for my taste.
