COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You can handle the truth! MYTH: IBUs (hop bitterness) can only be achieved in the boil. TRUTH: Uh-uh! The truth is, Dogfish Head has been doing innovative things in the world of hopping since we opened in the mid-90s. From our continual hopping method found in our 60 Minute, 90 Minute and 120 Minute IPAs to our latest innovation of post-boil hop additions found in our Liquid Truth Serum! Our unique process involving pelletized, powdered, leaf and liquefied hops makes for a blissfully inefficient IPA that's truthfully hoppy without being deceptively bitter. You'll find the perfect match of citrusy and tropical notes, making for a zesty finish ... honest.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is SweeTarts, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, sex, pine. Pours hazy golden with a one finger white head with good retention; fine particulates in suspension. Taste is dry with lots of tropical fruit hop character. Good stuff. Probably better than 60 and 90 Minute.

Bottle sample at Whole Foods Milwaukee. Hazy orange, floaties. Aroma of grapefruit zest, lime, pale malt. Taste is grapefruit, lime just, lime zest, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy. Solid.

.. . On tap at the Kingdom. Nice clear gold with lasting head and lots of lace. Citrusy lemon aroma with some grassy grains. Medium light sweetness with some apricot light tartness. Medium light Citrus and spice finish. Nice and dry with Lively carbonation to accentuate hops. Totally excellent.

Initial aroma is like opening a fresh bag of weed. Lite in color, with a mild IPA taste, hop back notes of dirt. A mild IPA, that stanks like weed and has dirt hops back notes.

12oz bottle from Beer Run. Tropical aromas, citrusy. Slightly hazy orange with a fairly lasting white head. Juicy, fruity, tropical. Medium bodied.

Has anyone here ever tried to brew a beer in which you only used hops as a dry hop? I was speaking to a friend who said he liked the hop aroma but not the bitterness. I was wondering what the results of just a dry hop and no boil hops would be.

On tap at Champps in Brookfield. Yellow pour with a white head. Aroma has sweet malts and light pine and light fruit notes.Taste is of light sweet malts and a bit of pine. Light bodied, which was surprising -- almost a belgian body. Shrug? Always hope for more from DFH, and am seldom pleased. 12.7

Hazy pour. White head with sticky lacing on the glass. STRONG scent of floral hops and pine. Really grabs you and pulls you in. Watery upfront and then some lighter bitterness. Flavor is not as strong as the aroma. Good though. On tap @ Three Cellars.

12 oz. bottle, thanks T.J. Bottle date of 9-29-17. Hazy golden appearance. Aroma is mild caramel and notes of pine. Flavor is heavy in caramel malts with a light pine finish. Light in body, not much else to say here.

12floz bottle, no date (recent release though), $3 single, mug glass. Yellow is the color of the body with haziness, and head is white. The aroma is fruity, like mango and pineapple. The taste is abrasively bitter, citrus rinds all the way and not much else. The feel is thin as if they pumped this beer up with sugar to just accentuate the hoppiness to the detriment of malt body and flavor. The verdict is that this is an IPA to just be an IPA. Whoopty doo.
