A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher. Namaste was originally brewed at our pub in Rehoboth Beach with our Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.

Pours a thick hazy orange body with lots of foamy white head. Aroma is belgian spice, wheat, and citrus. The mouthfeel is pretty smooth with not too much flavor - coriander, orange peel, yeast, and lemon.

Citrus-o-rama. A great thirst quencher. Light and refreshing yet still has plenty of flavor. Reviewed - A Brew With You, Ep. 70

Draft at the Hilton in Delaware. Aroma is the expected clove, banana, bubble gum, spice, yeasty esters. Creamy smooth palate, lightly hopped, bit of white pepper dryness on the finish.

Bottle. A- Pinto beans, plastic. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Ham and bean soup, subtle lemongrass, mild white pepper. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Really good but really odd. Don’t get hardly any of the ingredients listed like peppercorns, coriander, lemongrass, or orange. It reminds me a ton of pinto bean and ham soup I ate growing up. So odd but tasty.

Pretty white head, golden body, with a pleasant aroma. To me tastes nearly identical to Allagash White. Has a spicy aftertaste, and overall a bit too spicy for my tastes. Could not taste the orange. Not fruity and not the type of beer I would consider thirst quenching.

Pours a clear, light golden-yellow, with minimal head. Sort of an odd aroma--some grass, some fruit, and a weird, sour chemical touch. Flavor is marked by lemon and coriander and a touch of sourness.

Translucent Light yellow with thin white head. Aroma of wheat and light citrus. Taste of wheat, coriander, and a little lemon. Very light and watery. Would be a decent refreshing beer on a hot summer day.
